Lockdown: Study Focus Timer

Protect your study time with a focus timer that blocks distracting apps. Lockdown helps you make room for homework, exam prep, reading, and deep work. Choose the apps that pull you away, name what you're working on, and tap Lock in. Your selected apps are blocked during the session and become available again when it ends. START WITH A SIMPLE ROUTINE • Set a session from 15 minutes to 4 hours. • Save your app choices in a block list. • Follow the countdown, or hide it and put your phone down. • See your session on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. • Get a local notification when your session ends. STUDY TOGETHER IN CIRCLES Lock in with friends, classmates, or a whole study group. • Make a circle and share the invite link in your group chat. • See who's locked in right now, and tap Join to start your own session that ends when theirs does. • Send a friend a nudge when it's time to study. • Set a weekly goal for the whole circle and see everyone's study time this week. • Get notified when friends lock in, and follow along with the Circles widget. When you join a friend, your own block list and Strict setting still apply. BUILD YOUR STUDY HABIT Review this week's sessions and the time you protected. Add completed sessions to your calendar, see your progress in a widget, and start a session with Siri, Shortcuts, or Control Center. EXTRA RESOLVE WHEN YOU NEED IT Strict sessions hide the End button to help you stick to your plan. You stay in control: you can always revoke Lockdown's access in Settings > Screen Time to remove restrictions. GO FURTHER WITH LOCKDOWN PRO Optional in-app purchases unlock recurring study schedules, calendar-based sessions, multiple block lists, allow-only blocking, longer-term insights, an optional pause before ending early, a custom message on your blocking screen, weekly group sessions for your circles, and more than one circle of your own. Core focus sessions, one block list, Strict sessions, this week's history, and study circles (joining any number and making your own) are available without Pro. Pro is available through monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No Lockdown account, advertising, or tracking. Your session history and settings stay on your device. Study circles are optional: if you join one, your name, when you're locked in, and your study time and streak are shared with that circle through iCloud. What you're working on is shared only if you turn it on. App selections use Apple's privacy-preserving Screen Time controls. Calendar access is optional. Requires an iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Screen Time permission is required to block apps. Study circles require an iCloud account.
