iTrack Wildlife Pro

Identify the tracks and signs of North American mammals with a field guide created by wildlife biologist Jonah Evans, a CyberTracker-certified Track & Sign Specialist and Evaluator. iTrack Wildlife Pro combines detailed photographs, track illustrations, identification notes, and search tools for use in the field or at home. THE FIELD GUIDE • 71 North American mammal entries, including species and useful identification groups. • More than 900 track, sign, animal, and skull photographs with detailed captions. • Front and hind track icons, track measurements, gait descriptions, and comparisons with similar species. • Original stipple track drawings for 43 guide entries. Enlarge drawings, switch between front and hind feet, or view them at Life size after ruler calibration. • Search by common or scientific name, track length and width, toes, claws, symmetry, family, and state, province, territory, or Mexico. • Favorites and a side-by-side list and guide on iPad. PRACTICE AND FIELD TOOLS • Track & Sign Flashcards: study bundled Tracks, Sign, or Both photos, reveal the identification and caption, and browse relevant guide notes. Choose a 10–50-card or Continuous deck and optional flip animation. • A calibrated ruler with inches, centimeters, and full-screen measuring. • Illustrated guidance on measuring tracks, gait patterns, tracking tips, and field equipment. • Offline Wikipedia articles, with optional downloads of updated copies under Tools. OPTIONAL iNATURALIST FEATURES • Browse reusable community-reviewed photographs from the North American Animal Tracks Database, with credits and links to the original observations. Sort by Newest or Closest. • Filter guide species using nearby iNaturalist records, or generate a broader Nearby Species animal list and save the latest list for offline use. • Experimental iNaturalist flashcards let you inspect an observation's reusable photographs before revealing its community identification. Public state/province and country labels provide location context. Identifications can be mistaken or ambiguous. The field guide, bundled flashcards, ruler, and saved Wikipedia articles work offline. Loading new iNaturalist data or downloading article updates requires internet access. Location access is optional. Nearby records are approximate and do not prove that an animal is present or absent. This is an update to the existing paid Pro app. Existing Pro owners do not need to buy it again. No subscription or in-app purchase is required. Requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.
