Groundwork is a practice log for one thing: how cleanly you strike the ball. You grade every range ball with a single tap - Flush, Playable, Deep, or Top - right after you hit it. That tap doubles as your pre-shot routine: it forces a re-grip and a re-stance before every swing, the way a course does, which is what makes range practice actually transfer. THE NUMBERS ARE HONEST Every statistic carries its sample size and says how much it can be trusted - "not enough shots to mean anything yet", "emerging", or "established". Rates come with the range they could actually be. The app is allowed to say it does not know yet. No bare percentages, ever. BLOCKS, NOT BUCKETS Swings are grouped by club under ONE setup. Change your ball position, stance, or effort and a new block opens - so an afternoon spent searching for the right setup reads as a successful search, not a bad stretch. IT GROWS AS YOU DO Groundwork starts with contact only and stays quiet until your own record earns the next question: ball position, then effort, then flush distance, one at a time. A Progress page with your session-by-session trend unlocks after five finished sessions. NO SCORE TRACKING No handicap, no rounds, no leaderboards.
