Veriton Zro – Verified Camera

Veriton Zro is a camera for photos you need to prove. Take a photo with Veriton Zro, share a link, and anyone can check their own copy of it on zro.no. Your photo is never uploaded: Veriton Zro sends only a fingerprint, signed on your iPhone. HOW IT WORKS 1. Take a photo in Veriton Zro. It is saved to your photo library with a small strip at the bottom that names Veriton Zro. 2. Veriton Zro makes a fingerprint of the photo and signs it with Apple App Attest, which confirms that it comes from the Veriton Zro app on a genuine Apple device. 3. Create a proof link (zro.no/p/…) and share it with the photo. 4. Anyone with the link can drop their copy of the photo on the page. The check runs in their browser; only fingerprints are compared. WHAT THE CHECK SHOWS - Identical file, or the same image data with only metadata changed - Converted file format (for example JPEG to PNG) - Resized, cropped or recompressed - Brightness, contrast and colour changes - Blurred or sharpened - A 16×16 map over the copy: red for changed content, orange for local colour changes, blue for changed sharpness The checklist says what matches and what differs from the registered original. It cannot catch every possible edit, and a heavily changed copy may simply show no match. YOUR PHOTO STAYS WITH YOU zro.no never receives your photo. The fingerprint holds a coarse 16×16 colour grid and some numbers per area, too coarse to show details, plus the capture time. zro.no also keeps a coarse content map (which areas look like people, animals, vehicles and so on, with rough outlines); it is never shown publicly. A photo you share with its proof carries that map, so the recipient can check it without going online. You can delete a proof link at any time from the iPhone that created it.
