MOUNTAIN PASSES AND WEATHER-EXPOSED ROADS • Winter closures, convoy driving and night closures are part of the route calculation. • See the forecast weather and road conditions along the route, at the time you are expected to be there. • Get information about road surface temperature and condition, wind measurements on exposed bridges and weather warnings along the road. When an alternative route avoids difficult conditions, Vegferd tells you. THE FERRY IS PART OF THE ROUTE • The departure you can make, the wait at the quay and the crossing are counted into your arrival time. • See the next departure and the ferry on the map, with available live information about delays and cancellations. • On board, you can follow the crossing live and see the expected arrival at the next quay. • If you miss the ferry, the next one is shown. TRAFFIC THAT AFFECTS YOUR TRIP • The route accounts for both current traffic and typical traffic patterns through the day and the week. • On the main roads into Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger, your arrival time also accounts for the congestion measured right now. • Get alerts about congestion, closed roads, landslides, roadworks and accidents before you get there – and a suggested detour when the road is closed. CHARGING AND BREAKS ALONG THE WAY • Find charging stations and rest areas along the route. • See available live status for chargers, so you can plan your charging stop on the way.
