Life Tally: Days & Milestones

Life Tally is a calendar for the days no calendar prints. It also shows your children side by side at the same age. SIDE BY SIDE Mark your children, and each morning Life Tally pairs them at the same age, to the day. Sam is 1,005 days old this morning. Maya was 1,005 days old on August 7, 2023. So there she is beside him, in a photo from that day or the nearest one within three days. Take today's photo with Maya's faded over the viewfinder to line them up. Scrub back to Day 100 or Day 500. Or open every round day at once as a ladder of pairs to send to the family. If a day's best photo shows the wrong child, pick another. Life Tally keeps your choice. Nothing is uploaded and no face is ever recognized. Life Tally just matches birthdays to the dates on your photos. DAYS WITH NAMES Add your birthday and the count begins. Years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds all tick at once, each at its own pace. Then Life Tally does something no calendar has done for you. It finds the days of your life worth knowing about and puts them on the calendar. Your 10,000th day arrives in your 28th year. Your billionth second lands at 31. One day your count reads 11,111. Another day your seconds alive read 299,792,458. That's the speed of light. Some days come round every year. The rarest happen once in a life, and Life Tally marks those in red. Every named day comes with its proof. Tap the equals mark to see the arithmetic: the dates, the count and the reason. Every count is exact and worked out from the dates you enter. Most days are quiet, and the app says so. That's what lets the rare ones stand out. YOUR PEOPLE Add the people you count with, and the calendar fills with shared days: • Birthdays and half-birthdays • The running total of days you've been alive at the same time • The one day a child is exactly half a parent's age • The day two lives add up to a hundred years • Anniversaries and the dates that anchor a life, like a wedding, a first home or a new job Birthdays can come straight from Contacts. Pets count too, by their real days and never in dog years. Met someone on your day 9,000? On day 18,000 you'll have known them longer than you ever didn't. Add the minute you were born and the count is exact to the minute once a day. You and two more are free. One purchase opens the full roster for everyone. It's shared with your family through Family Sharing, and there's no subscription. PHOTOS Life Tally finds your photos by their dates and never recognizes a face. Open any picture to see how old everyone was that day. See this date in past years. Find the days you photographed without knowing they had a name. THE SKY See tonight's real sky. The moon shows its true phase, and the planets stand where they are this evening. Your own star is there too. Life Tally also marks Halley's comet, eclipses and meteor showers when they fall on your dates. It even finds the day your age in years equals a star's distance in light-years. LETTERS TO A DAY Write to a future day, or record up to thirty seconds of your voice. The letter seals and comes back to you when that day arrives. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Five widgets: • Your live count • The next named days in your circle • A photo from this date in years past • Tonight's moon • Side by Side, with your children at the same age Ask Siri "What day is it in Life Tally?" or "When's my next named day in Life Tally?" PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No tracking. What you add stays on your device and in your own iCloud. Every count and date is worked out on the device. A few features that read or write words use Apple Intelligence. They run on the device or through Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which stores nothing. RevenueCat records your purchase so you can restore it on every device.
