A year later, with professional musicians, we recorded these parents & their little ones and published the famous "Compil des Petits Minous" which became the most popular nursery rhyme album in preschools and kindergartens in France in the ‘90s. In 1994, we produced some of these albums into cartoons. This was the birth of Clipounets: small musical clips to awaken children to language. The clips are scripted, drawn, and animated by artists; following guidelines put together by a panel of educators and children specialists, focused on teaching language in sweet, calm, and engaging ways. From the beginning, Clipounets are always constructed in two parts: a first clip for the child to discover the story, followed by a second pass with words in big subtitles to start their reading skills.
