Uncloud turns hardware you already own - an old laptop, a mini PC, a NAS, or a dedicated Uncloud Node into private cloud storage you can reach from anywhere in the world. Your files live on your hardware and are encrypted before they ever leave your device. Uncloud also supports USB devices, so you can plug in your USB and free up space on your device very easily, no account required. You can even view your photos when your USB is not connected. WHY UNCLOUD Other cloud storage services charge you every month, forever, for space you often don't fully utilize. If you have a large amount of data you are stuck paying forever. Uncloud moves the hardware to your control whilst we control the integration and networking between your hardware and your phone. END-TO-END ENCRYPTION Every file is encrypted on your phone before it's uploaded. Your phone holds the keys. Uncloud never receives them. Your node only ever stores encrypted data. Data is transferred directly between your node and your phone. ACCESS FROM ANYWHERE The Uncloud network acts as a secure peer-to-peer connection bridge between the app and your storage node. View, upload, and stream your files from anywhere - with no port forwarding and nothing to configure on your router. It will just work. NO STORAGE LIMITS Your capacity is whatever your drives hold. GETTING STARTED Uncloud requires a storage node - either an Uncloud Node, or your own macOS or Linux device running the free Uncloud agent.
