Source Chain

Source Chain is a comprehensive investigative utility designed for journalists, researchers, and fact-finders that transforms your device into a complete case management system. Users begin by creating a new investigation case, which provides a clear overview of active leads, pending tasks, and a real deadline. Within each case, you can build detailed dossiers on sources - whether anonymous whistleblowers or expert witnesses - tracking their status and reliability as Confirmed or Questionable, and you can open any source profile to instantly view their entire contribution history and cross-connections with other figures in your investigation. The app also allows you to log meetings and events, where you can describe acquired information, link relevant sources, attach files such as documents or recordings, assign confirmation types like Rumor, Document, or Call Recording, and mark verification status as Fact-Check Passed or Failed. For deeper analysis, Source Chain offers powerful visualization tools, including interactive relationship graphs that map connections between persons of interest and a Transparency Index that shows how much of your case is backed by documented evidence. Additional smart features include voice dictation for debriefing immediately after meetings while memories are fresh, a verification feed that tracks each source's reliability history, and a visual network map that reveals the complete web of relationships across your case. To keep you motivated, the app incorporates gamified progression with avatar system, allowing you to advance from Trainee to Pulitzer Laureate while unlocking achievements and weekly roundups as you build your investigative portfolio. Whether you are an investigative journalist, research analyst, legal professional, academic researcher, or fact-checker, Source Chain turns scattered notes into structured intelligence and helps you connect the dots with clarity and confidence.
