October 2023 The word beauty has never been more inclusive, accepting, and open than it has in the last few years. In our October issue, we talk about this massive shift and how it impacts the world of fashion. Gracing our cover is the ever-eloquent Catriona Gray, who talks about the power of being openly vulnerable, the challenges in social media, and why we should stop comparing women with one another—even just to say, “Who wore it better?” In our special beauty issue, we also present the much-anticipated, annual MEGA Beauty Awards, where the best products are put in the spotlight and imagined as part of our daily lives—as they truly are. September 2023 In an industry that keeps evolving by the minute, how does one adapt and move in a way that stays true to culture, heritage, roots, and craft? For the September issue of MEGA magazine, we explore the transformation of fashion’s meaning and purpose through designers such as Ellis Co and Viña Romero. We also revisit stylists who’ve made it abroad while staying true to their Filipino aesthetics. Plus, Rajo Laurel, who has helped shaped the fashion industry for the last 30 years is showing us how growth is now more important than ever to a virtuoso. Fronting our issue is Atasha Muhlach, who has recently entered the spotlight after getting her college degree in London. Through her story, we are reminded that time and again, something new and exciting will always land on the fashion sphere. August 2023 On our way to growth and exploring our capacities, we need to take risks. The MEGA August 2023 issue finds out what it’s like to go beyond limits through the eyes of the people who have the courage to risk it all. In the fashion front, we talk to Avel Bacudio, who revels anything unconventional yet timeless. We also give the spotlight to the beauty and complexity of keeping the business within families. Plus, Filipino designers based in the United States recall the moment they finally decided to find out if it’s really greener on the other side. In beauty, we give you the fascinating trend called stained makeup and new brow shapes you could try. Fronting our cover is Liza Soberano, who left her comfort zone and risked it all to reach for bigger dreams.
