Lumera: Letters & Reading

In prison, the best part of the day is a letter from outside. Lumera sends one every day to your loved one in a Singapore prison. IN EVERY DAY'S LETTER • Your own letter: write it in the app; our team checks it and sends it with the day's letter • A thought for today: a short quote with a plain explanation, for encouragement • Singapore news: the previous day's society and court news, in Chinese and English, so they stay in touch with the world outside • Birthday wishes: a special message on their birthday ADD-ONS YOU CAN CHOOSE • A serialised novel: one chapter a day, something to look forward to (with the novel, a letter can run to about 20,000 characters) • 4D results: sent the day after each draw • Music time: the lyrics of a song and the story behind it MORE COLUMNS • Law Time • What's New • Puzzle Time • Festival specials WRITE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY • When they write back, you can read the reply in the app • Add up to 5 family members' WhatsApp numbers so they can write too PEACE OF MIND • Every letter is checked by a person and follows the prison's correspondence rules; the prison decides whether each letter is delivered • Use Lumera in Chinese or English • Lumera is an independent service and is not affiliated with the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) • For adults aged 18 and over Lumera is currently free to use. Join today: after the prison's approval, the first letter can arrive in as little as two days.
