Plant Light Meter: Lux & PPFD

Is your plant getting enough light? Find out in seconds. Light meter for plants — measures lux and foot candle intensity using your iPhone camera. Plus professional PPFD and PAR readings for grow lights, and Daily Light Integral (DLI) tracking. Designed specifically for indoor plant parents and serious growers. —————————————————————— WHY YOUR PLANTS NEED A LIGHT METER After overwatering, insufficient light is the #1 killer of indoor plants. Most plant owners guess — but different species need dramatically different light levels. A Snake Plant thrives in 500 lux. A Fiddle Leaf Fig needs 10,000+. Stop guessing. Start measuring. —————————————————————— WHAT MAKES THIS APP DIFFERENT Unlike generic lux meter apps built for electricians, Light Meter for Plant is designed for plant care: PROFESSIONAL PPFD & PAR (Premium) Switch the unit to PPFD for grow-light-grade readings in μmol/m²/s. Pick your light source (Sunlight, Cool LED, Warm LED, HPS, Fluorescent) for accurate conversions. PAR estimates included. DAILY LIGHT INTEGRAL (DLI) In continuous mode, the app tracks the total photosynthetic light your plant receives over 24 hours — the metric serious growers care about most. Save daily snapshots and review your DLI history. PLANT NAME TAGGING Tag each measurement with a plant name — pick from our 50+ plant database or add your own. Filter saved measurements by plant. See 7-day average lux per plant. PLANT RECOMMENDATIONS After every measurement, see which plants thrive in your current light conditions. 50+ plants with specific lux ranges.
