Winnowed: Subscription Tracker

Winnowed is a subscription tracker built on one observation: the problem is not that you forgot what you signed up for. The problem is that nothing ever asks whether you still want it. Winnowed asks. Every quarter it walks you through your subscriptions one at a time, and before you can decide anything it makes you answer a single question: how often do you actually use this? Then you keep it, pause it, or cut it. The whole ritual takes about five minutes. YOUR STACK Subscriptions grouped by what they cost over five years, not what they cost this month. A $15 monthly service is $900 by the time you are finished with it. Winnowed leads with that number and colors it: sage for the small ones, burgundy for the ones worth a hard look. THE QUARTERLY RITUAL One card per subscription, gentlest first. Each shows the monthly cost, the annual cost, and the five-year projection, plus whether the price has risen and how many times in a row you have kept it. Swipe right to keep, left to cut, down to pause. Add a note to say why, so next quarter you remember. Change your mind and undo. ON IPAD AND IPHONE DUO On iPad, and unfolded on iPhone Duo, your Stack sits beside the subscription you are looking at: its five-year cost, price history, and review notes, right next to the list. With a keyboard, Command-N adds a subscription, Command-R starts a review, and Command-F searches. ASK SIRI Ask what you are spending this year, or what any one subscription costs you. Add a subscription or mark one reviewed without opening the app. Your Stack turns up in Spotlight, and every action works as a Shortcut. SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPING Pick a screenshot of a receipt, a bank statement, or your Apple Subscriptions list. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Winnowed reads it on device, turns statement codes into the names you know, and matches each charge to its own price. Devices without it use built in text recognition. Either way the reading happens on your device. FORWARD RECEIPTS A one-time unlock. Select the text of a subscription email in Mail and share it to Winnowed, and the same on-device reader fills in the name and price for you to confirm. Family Sharing included. ACROSS YOUR DEVICES Your Stack stays in sync through your own iCloud account, on iPhone and iPad. The widget keeps up with changes from your other devices, even when Winnowed is not open. HISTORY Every session you have completed, what you cut, what you kept, and what it came to. Plus a running record of price increases, because subscriptions rarely get cheaper.
