Moratine

Moratine records the waiting nobody asked for. On hold. In line. In a waiting room. At the DMV. Time you did not choose. Two hours ten minutes on hold with your insurer, across six calls. That sentence is the whole app. A bare total is a mood, and knowing you waited four hours this month changes nothing. Naming who imposed it turns the same number into something you can act on: use the callback option, call at a different hour, escalate, switch provider. ONE TAP IN, ONE TAP OUT The moment you are put on hold is a bad time to use an app, so Moratine keeps capture to a single tap from wherever you already are. A Control Center control. A complication or Smart Stack button on Apple Watch. A home screen or lock screen widget. Or the app itself. Nothing to categorize, nothing to fill in. Start it when the wait begins and stop it when it ends. SAY WHO LATER, OR NEVER Naming the counterparty is optional and happens after the fact, when you have the patience for it. Unnamed waits still count toward your total. Named ones add up into a ledger: who is costing you what, sorted, so the leader is the first thing you see. An honest record does not require you to do bookkeeping in a waiting room. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No streaks. No scores. No coaching. No suggestions about how to wait better. Moratine keeps a record and shows you what is in it. What you do about it is yours. It never acts on your behalf. It will not file a complaint, request a callback, or draft an angry email. It does not guess. There is no location tracking, no motion detection, no listening for calls. The tap is the record. ALSO INCLUDED A month view that shifts colour as your waiting accumulates, from a light mist to something heavier. History by week and day, with every wait editable after the fact. Apple Watch app that records on its own and hands completed waits to your phone when it can, so a wait recorded in a basement waiting room is not lost. Live Activity on the lock screen while a wait runs. Full JSON export. Every wait, every counterparty, readable without this app. On iPad and iPhone Duo, Home and History side by side, so the wait in progress sits beside every wait before it. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION No account. No tracking. No analytics. Nothing is collected and nothing leaves your device. There is no server to send it to. One purchase, no subscription.
