Kulfi: Games for Couples

You talk to them every day. And still, by 10pm, you're both just trading reels and typing "kya kar rahe ho" for the ninth time. You're not fighting. You're not bored of each other. You're just out of things to do. Nobody warns you about this part of loving someone in India. A lot of us don't share a city, forget a room. The whole relationship lives inside a phone. Two grey ticks, a few voice notes, one call before bed. So much love stuck inside a very small screen. Three of us built Kulfi, and we were all in the same spot. Long-term partners we love, who make our day. But once the day's been talked through, it all starts to repeat. What we missed wasn't the conversation, it was their presence. We didn't want to sit alone at night scrolling Instagram. We wanted to be in the same room as them, even when we couldn't. Half our video calls were just silence, nothing left to say. And it wasn't only us. Almost everyone we knew was in the same quiet. Here's the only promise we care about: no couple on Kulfi should have a boring conversation again. We take that dead late-night chat and turn it into banter, teasing, a bit of fighting, and a lot of "wait, that's not fair." Kulfi doesn't work like anything you've played. The games run across two phones, yours and theirs, at once. Some split the controls between you, so it's one game, one boat, each holding one half. Mess up your side and you both go down together. Here's the part we love most. It's made for when you're already on a call. Put Kulfi on while you're on a video or audio call at night, and play straight through it. You're on the call anyway. This is what you do during it. One house rule. No singles allowed. You invite your partner, send them a code, they punch it in, and you're paired. Till then, the games stay locked. Sounds a bit harsh, but that's the point. Kulfi is a two-person club, and if you're inside it, you've already got the one thing it asks for. And you won't run dry. We add fresh games every single week. That's a founder promise, not a marketing line. We're trying to keep our own partners entertained, so trust me, the new stuff keeps coming. Here's some of what's inside: Pirate Escape One boat, two captains. One wrong tap and you're both underwater. Stay in sync, or sink. Snatch the Fries The plate's between you and there was never enough. Grab fast. Love is conditional now. Yeet the Spider Aim, hold your nerve, fling it before the music stops. Don't ask, just throw. Basketball Rivalry Twenty seconds on the clock, zero mercy. Outscore them, or hear about it all night. Four in a Row Looks innocent. Ends relationships. Drop your coin, block theirs, act like you planned it. Never Have I Ever The cards ask, you answer honestly. Some answers you'll wish you could take back. Who's More Likely To You each lock in a guess. Then the reveal. Then the argument that lasts an hour. Pillow Talk The soft one. A quiet prompt, a real answer, the kind of 2am talk you don't get over text. Underneath all of it, there's Roadtrip. The more you play, the more miles you and your partner rack up, and your little car moves further across the map. You unlock new cities, crack clues for what's next, and slowly take the road trip you keep saying you'll go on someday. Every other Kulfi couple is on that road too. You can't always meet. You can still go somewhere together. One honest thing. Nearly every app you live on, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, was built somewhere else. India has over 200 million couples, and Kulfi is the couples app built in India, for India. We want it in the hands of every couple in the country. So that's our ask. We built this to solve our own problem and sweated every detail. Download it, play it, and tell us honestly what's broken and what you loved. And please, spread the word. We're a young company, every download counts, and the fastest way Kulfi reaches the couple who needs it is you. See you on the road, The founders of Kulfi
