Free2Carry

Free2Carry grades businesses and candidates on the Second Amendment, from the record, and tells you the carry law wherever you are. BUSINESSES, GRADED A TO F Every grade is built from documented, dated actions: donations, policies, payments and public statements. Each one links to its source, so you can check it yourself. Search millions of US storefronts, see how a brand treats lawful gun owners, and read reviews from members about how a store treated them. CANDIDATES AND THE 2A RECORD Look up a federal candidate and see what is on their record: FEC-reported money, roll-call votes and sponsorships, each with a source you can check. CARRY LAW, STATE BY STATE Concealed carry, open carry, permits, reciprocity, duty to inform and more, for all 50 states, DC and the territories. Every answer is cited to a statute and dated. Plan a trip and see what changes at each state line. WHERE YOU ARE Open the carry-law page and Free2Carry shows the law for the state you are standing in, and what your permit means there. Turn on crossing alerts and the app tells you when you enter a new state, even when it is closed. The state is worked out on your phone against bundled boundary lines. Your location is never sent to us or anyone else. ALERTS THAT MATTER Watch a business or candidate and get a notification when its grade or record changes. YOUR VOICE Members review businesses on how they treat lawful carry, submit sourced evidence for editors to verify, and report anything that breaks the rules. Free2Carry is information, not legal advice. Laws change; every answer shows the date it was checked and the statute it comes from.
