Groundwell: Grounding Tracker

Find the best places near you to take your shoes off—and know exactly what's under your feet. Groundwell is a grounding and earthing tracker for people who'd rather be outside. It maps the parks, trails, beaches, and riverbanks around you, times your barefoot sessions, and reads the live soil, sun, air, and space-weather conditions of the ground you're standing on. All from public data. All on your device. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Find real outdoor spots near you—parks, trails, beaches, lakes, riverbanks, gardens, and peaks—drawn from OpenStreetMap. • Time your grounding sessions with a calm, dependable timer that remembers where you stood and on what surface. • See your live "Area Grounding Score," an at-a-glance read on how favorable the nearby ground is right now. • Earn Earth Connectivity Points (ECP) and collect bronze-to-platinum achievements as you explore new terrain. LIVE LOCAL CONDITIONS Tap any number to learn what it means: • Temperature, humidity, and the UV index • Soil moisture for your exact spot • US Air Quality Index • The planetary Kp geomagnetic index SPACE WEATHER, WATCHED FOR YOU Groundwell keeps an eye on the Sun. When NOAA detects a notable solar flare (M-class or stronger), you'll get a calm, plain-language heads-up—flares can spark auroras a day or two later, so it's your cue to watch the sky. No hype, no doom: just the official NOAA reading and what it actually means. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Groundwell runs entirely on your device. No account, no sign-up, no ads, and no third-party tracking. Your location is used only to look up public weather and map data—it never leaves your phone for storage, because we don't run servers. The App Store privacy label says it plainly: Data Not Collected. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Every number has a public source you can check: • Weather, UV, and soil moisture — Open-Meteo • Air quality — Open-Meteo Air Quality • Geomagnetic Kp and solar flares (GOES X-ray) — NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center • Places and maps — OpenStreetMap and CARTO GROUNDWELL PRO Go deeper with premium map layers, solar-flare alerts, and your full session history with export. Choose monthly or annual access—cancel anytime. AN HONEST NOTE Groundwell is an educational, exploratory tool. The scores it shows describe the environment around you—estimated from public soil, weather, and geological data. They are not measurements of your body. Groundwell is not a medical device and makes no health claims. We just think the outdoors is worth your time on its own merits. Groundwell Pro is an auto-renewable subscription at $2.99/month or $29.99/year (USD). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, and it renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
