FrameGuide: Same Shot Camera

“Could you take it like this?” Show the photo you love and hand over the phone. FrameGuide overlays a reference photo on the camera view so you can shoot the same composition again. Pick a photo or a social media screenshot: the photo area is found for you, and you can choose an aspect ratio. Or take a first shot and use it as your reference. Line it up • Compare with an overlay, an outline or a side-by-side view. • When the same scene is recognized, guidance shows one move at a time: direction, then zoom. In a different scene, line it up by eye. • The app compares the relative sizes of the person and background to suggest stepping back and zooming in, or moving closer and zooming out. Keep the subject in place while the photographer moves. Use this with one person clearly in view. Pass the phone • Turn on Auto and it shoots when the framing matches. • Blink Guard: when closed eyes are detected, it waits for them to open or takes another shot. • The volume buttons and Camera Control (on supported models) work as a shutter. Match the look • Match the Look brings colors closer to the reference in one tap; fine-tune with filters and adjustments. • When the original is accessible, edits are saved so you can revert them in Photos; otherwise they’re saved as a new photo. Saved and organized • Shots are saved to Photos. If saving fails, the app keeps the photo so you can try again. • Add references straight from the Share menu in other apps. • References with location information show up again when you’re nearby.
