Filter London is a guide to the best speciality coffee in London. Every shop we recommend is on one map, so you can see what’s good near you, check whether it’s open and get directions in a tap. It covers the whole city, from Shoreditch and Hackney to Soho, Peckham and Brixton. Our Picks are the shops we’d send a friend to first. Each area has its top choice, so wherever the day takes you, you know where to start. Before you go, you’ll find opening hours, directions in the maps app you prefer, and what each shop offers: Wi-Fi, food, oat and plant milk, outdoor seating, and whether your dog is welcome. London has one of the best roasting scenes in the world, and Filter London follows the coffee back to it. You can see who roasts each cup, where the beans come from and which shops pour them. Filter by origin or by roaster to find a particular bean. Heading to a landmark? Each shop page shows what’s within walking distance, and each landmark shows the nearest good coffee. From the British Museum to Borough Market, it’s easy to fit a proper cup into a day out. The city guide covers the people, events and news behind London’s coffee scene. There’s a light and dark mode. No account and no ads.
