Foldtone: Fold Synth

Foldtone is a musical toy with no goal and no score. Tap anywhere and a note blooms. Every note you play comes back a few seconds later, a little softer and a little somewhere else, until a piece grows out of nothing. You can't play a wrong note. FOLD IT (on iPhone Duo) Fold the phone while it plays and the sound bends with it: flat is pure bells, half folded is bright and buzzing, nearly closed is dark and murmuring. The crease is a string: tap it to pluck, drag along it to bow. Fold the phone partway and the crease becomes a mirror that answers every note from the other side. Close the book and the piece goes to sleep; open it and it wakes. WORKS ON EVERY iPHONE On any iPhone you get the whole instrument: the blooms, the echo, the string across the middle. Drag two fingers down to fold the sound by hand.
