Export your entire library (except photos) to CSV any time. Imports are verified with checksums, and each import is tracked as a batch, so you can undo an import cleanly if something looks wrong. For modern backup and restore, use the backup to JSON file format and restore from JSON file format from any disk location your Apple ID has permissions to read/write.
