VeraCast: Weather & Alerts

VeraCast is a weather app done right: fast, accurate, beautifully presented, and built natively for iOS 26 — without ads or tracking. Free to download, with optional Premium for the extras. — MEET VERA — A little celestial weather buddy floats beside the temperature, dresses for the weather, and gives you the day's most important tip. Tap her to ask anything, or turn her off in Settings for the classic look. — ON-DEVICE AI BRIEFINGS — Apple Intelligence generates a friendly daily summary of your weather, written in plain English. Everything happens on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server. Available on iPhone 15 Pro and newer. — PREMIUM: ASTRO-WEATHER HOROSCOPE — A full daily reading that ties today's sky to your real weather: love, career, and wellness guidance, lucky color and number, compatible signs, and a morning notification. Personalize it with your sun, rising, and moon signs. — LIVE RADAR (PREMIUM) — Animated rain radar with a nowcast that runs ahead of now. Scrub the timeline, track storm cells with real arrival times, and see SPC severe-risk areas — all on one map. — SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS — National Weather Service alerts for your exact location, free for everyone, with optional earthquake and hurricane notifications. — SMART WINDOWS — Not just "will it rain" but WHEN to go. VeraCast scores every hour of the next seven days and tells you the best window to run, ride, walk the dog or mow the lawn — worked out from the forecast, not guessed. — THE STORM PACK — Rain starting in N minutes at your exact spot, storm cells with real arrival times, SPC severe-risk areas, marine sea state, and the nearest weather station's actual reading. — YOUR STORM LOG — VeraCast quietly writes down the days that stood out — records, warnings, the first freeze, big swings — and builds them into your year in weather. It's free, it's yours, and it never leaves your phone. — 27 ACTIVITY & HEALTH OUTLOOKS — Cycling, running, gardening, camping, mosquitoes, migraine risk and more, with a 10-day calendar of the best days for what you care about. — POLLEN FORECAST — Tree, grass, and weed pollen levels with daily alerts. — WIDGETS (PREMIUM) — Home Screen widgets in three sizes plus three Lock Screen accessory widgets. Always shows your latest local weather, refreshed automatically. — THEMES (PREMIUM) — Five palettes: Classic, Midnight, Ember, Forest and Graphite. Warning colours never change with the theme — a warning has to read as a warning in every palette. — SPANISH BUILT IN — If your iPhone language is set to Spanish, VeraCast renders entirely in Spanish — including the AI briefing. — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — No ads, no tracking, no accounts. AI runs on your iPhone where supported, and your location never leaves your device except to fetch your forecast. — FREE, WITH OPTIONAL PREMIUM — VeraCast is free to download. Your daily AI briefing, severe weather alerts, weather news, and activity outlooks are included at no cost. VeraCast Premium unlocks the astro-weather horoscope, Trip Planner, animated radar, smart rain and storm push alerts, extra AI briefing tones, and Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Apple Watch widgets. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: $16.99/year (with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers) or $2.49/month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings. A NOTE ON AI FEATURES Ask Vera and card explanations require an iPhone with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later, excluding iPhone 15 and 15 Plus). Everything else in VeraCast Premium works on every iPhone that runs VeraCast. VeraCast is built and maintained by JCM App Studio. Available in 26 countries.
