All you do is call the number—then place a call to whoever your calling and it makes a 3 way call. Nobody notices, and it records everything. It’s really pathetic that some people don’t want to put in the work to learn how to use the app (its really simple i mean seriously?) and are discrediting the functionality of it because of their stupidity. Nothing really typically comes free in this world. I mean the app developers have got to make something too. It has absolutely saved my life in several ways—$9.99 for 3 months is A DEAL if you ask me!! I was SA’d and got the perp on the phone and I was able to put him behind bars. Futhermore my father was being abused and neglected in a nursing home and due to this app I was able to file a lawsuit with evidence because my state is a one party consent state—and my father got millions. I could not literally be more thankful to this app. I will definitely make a donation to their company. THANK YOU!!!

Clearly, these reviews can be manipulated.! As you would expect, a subscription is required to use this app. Under the guise that this app functioned as promised, I opted for the 1 year subscription at $60; while the other option at $8/week did not make sense for me. Brief step-by-step instructions on How to record a phone call are included via the app. I firsI made a BRIEF practice call which appeared to work as promised. I then needed to record a very important phone convo that detailed specific events and details. it was important this data was preserved and available later for reference. Again, I followed the instructions per the app. To my dismay, I discovered that Call Recorder had spontaneously stopped recording my phone conversation 4 min and ‘x’ seconds into the conversation. No warning. No explanation. No support. No rhyme or reason. Moreover, No contact info for technical support or the developer. Its almost as if the developer listed the app in the Apple Store simply to generate revenue without any intention of supporting it. With a generic name like Call Recorder, its more difficult to track and differentiate the duds from “the realz”. If you need an app you can rely on to record phone calls from start to finish, this app is not for you!

It shows a notification that says “you’re not allowed to make payments at this time, please try again later“. Very annoying to have an application that has such high reviews end up being a total dud. I hope that the admin’s or dev team for this application fix it as soon as possible. I’ve already paid for a one year subscription to the application. I would hate to have to battle it out with whomever to get a refund. Ask for the actual application itself, very useful. Very user-friendly. And convenient when you can actually prepare for a phone call before hand. In instances where I have a phone call coming in and I need to record it, I simply ask the person calling to hold for one second while I connect to the application to record the conversation. Ultimately, it is a tool that Hass to be executed properly for it to function the way it supposed to. Overall, very good application; when it is functional.

The app will tell you that your recordings are saved and then three seconds later it will display a system error. There is no customer service that you can audibly converse with. There is only a technical support team via email. I advised the technical support team that my recordings showed to be saved, however, did not appear in my recordings list. They advised me, against my better judgment, to delete the app in order to restore missing recordings. They ensured me that that my recordings would not be lost to follow the steps that they sent me in the email. I followed the steps exactly and wound up losing over 50 very important recordings that were valuable for legal proceedings!!!! I am forced to keep the app, because of the ones that were recovered… they will be lost if you decide to discontinue the service. Since all of my complaints, they have tried to now. Upgrade the app, but it’s still having problems and I have to delete the entire app again and again. Each time it’s taking another risk. If I were you, I wouldn’t use it!

I got the subscription and within two minutes, I hear a ding and see a transaction on my bank card. Initially I hit cancel but then received a notification to save 62% for the year and that'll be my "locked in rate" for as long as I use the app. So in my head, I'm like that's cool but that should've been red flag number one but in my head, I'm like it could be useful and they dropped the price by 62% so try it out and if you don't like it, cancel it next year. Yeah, that's not going to happen. I just prefer a refund and go about my way. I don't want to accidentally forget to cancel and be charged again so after this review, I will be contacting this company. I also don't like that I have to call a number first then add the call just to hear nothing but static. They just need to take this app as a list and learning experience, delete it and try all over again.

I needed copies of my calls last night and listened to them today and well I’m not laughing. I will admit you got me loud and clear but as soon as they answered theres nothing but total silence. Cute. You have not helped one bit. To try and charge such an exorbitant amount in the first place and then not work at all. I guess it’s on me to not take the time and check the first recording, but I have a trusting nature. I’m finding out the hard way the just because there’s an app on my iPhone doesn’t mean it works correctly nor can it be trusted. I feel like the iPhone should have higher standards but they don’t. I guess if they are capable of killing batteries quicker they are certainly capable of having unreliable apps on their phones. Wow the more I learn of mankind the more it is heartbreaking. It seems no one is trustworthy, honest, nor just plain kind anymore. So just thought I’d drop a quick to tell you how let down I am once again.

The app mostly works as advertised, I can confirm you will have to merge the calls which usually takes a moment and you won’t be able to hear the other person if they start speaking during the merge. The reason I left 3 stars is because I was recording a vital call between HR and myself for protection in the event of retaliation for reporting illegal activities on the company I work for. About 5 minutes into the call, the HR director stopped speaking and asked if I was still there, then said they heard a “click”. I’m not sure if the app made any other sounds for them while I was on the phone. Additionally, the app only recorded 12:22minutes out of a 45 minute call and stopped recording with no warning or no notice that it was no longer recording. This lead to losing the majority of the conversation with vital details that could have protected me should I be retaliated against, and now I simply would have to use a partial recording as a defense should it come to it. Aside from not recording the full call, and alerting the caller with a beep about 5 minutes in, the app does work as described, and there is a paid subscription.

Here are a list of the problems I have encountered during that year. 1. Calls not merging correctly, leading to calls not being recorded. 2. Call transcription not working correctly. When the call transcribe button is pushed, the software will lag and lock up. App must then be closed and restarted to access the transcription that caused the app to freeze. 3. Woke up one day to find all ALL of my recordings (which are stored in iCloud) are gone from the app and can no longer be accessed. One year of calls pertinent to my ongoing legal case are nowhere to be found, though my iCloud still shows 2gb of data stored for this app. 4. Customer service is non existent. I searched everywhere for help, only to find the same support email address plastered all over the app support tab, but no one actually replies to solve any problems. Further investigation through these reviews will yield the same generic “contact this support email” , which will yield no results. 5. Monthly fees are atrocious, e.g. I have given this company over $450 to ensure I would be able to access my recordings, which have just..”up and vanished like a fart in the wind” - Warden @ Shawshank In summary, the app faulty, unreliable and costly and the customer support is non existent.

I downloaded t to record my phone call with apple support. I am telling you right now. This thing is dangerous. All these problems and so many built in apps Just leaves us open for the hackers. With every little bug there another way us old veterans can be exploited. The funny thing (not so funny). I have 2 degrees in computer hardware. Though they are old. If I get stuck in this position just think how the other old people like your parents and grandparents that still are alive can also be put in a dangerous position. With those that want to exploit to make their fortunes. Yes I don’t trust this phone. It is real screwed. Yes by all means record my call with you but give me a copy too

It has caused me more grief than it has good. There is no customer service or support team to contact If you have any troubles! I’ve paid premium subscription yearly for this app and it’s completely useless. It took away valuable recordings that I needed for a legal Matter and I was counting on them to save my home! and instead they just vanished and there was no one there to help me recover my precious recordings. Anyone involved with helping put this app on a platform for someone to get roped into paying and counting on should Definitely be ashamed of their selves. I’ve lost money and my home in the process and there is no one to help me with recovering my recordings! you cannot speak to anyone! they don’t exist!. It’s a bogus app and all parties that are involved with supporting this app are wrong for doing so! it is horrible.
