Description
Stop spelling out the Wi-Fi password. raqu turns it into a card you can hold in your hand: your guest points a camera at the code and is online. Type the network name and the password, and raqu draws the QR code and lays the cards out on an A4 sheet with cutting lines. Print it, cut the cards apart and put one in the guest room, in the hallway or on the table at the cabin. THE CARD • Network name, password and QR code on one card, ready to scan • WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 are preset; WEP, open networks and hidden networks work too • Show or hide the password characters, and copy the password with a tap • The app warns about what usually goes wrong: a space at the end, an invisible character from a paste, a password that is too short — and asks you to test the card with a phone before you print more THE SHEET • One, two, four or nine cards per A4, from 130 × 180 down to 62 × 88 mm • Folding table tents that stand on their own, one, two or three per sheet • Solid lines for cutting, dashed for folding • Print from the phone, save as PDF or share the card with someone who is not there YOUR NETWORKS • Save several networks — home, the guest network, the cabin — with a note that shows in the list and never on the card • Tap a saved network and the card is made again, nothing to type • Drag to order the list; Forget these details removes them • Passwords are kept in the phone's keychain, the same protection your other passwords get ON SCREEN • Show the code full screen for a guest standing beside you, with the brightness turned up so the camera reads it straight away • The code is always black on white, even in dark mode — an inverted code is not read by every camera NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE raqu collects nothing about you. No account, no analytics, no permissions to approve, and the app works without the internet. What you type stays on the phone, and what you print or share goes only where you send it. • Free, with no ads and no purchases • Swedish and English, light and dark mode raqu is made by Jan Sandqvist Engineering AB in Sweden.
