DoubleTake - Record Service

Record vertical and horizontal video at the same time. One tap. Two files. Zero editing. DoubleTake captures two videos simultaneously — so you never have to choose between portrait and landscape again. Hit record once, and get both a 9:16 clip ready for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts AND a 16:9 version perfect for YouTube, presentations, or your camera roll. PICK ANY TWO ASPECT RATIOS Choose from 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9, and 2.35:1 (cinematic widescreen). Mix and match however you want — pair a square crop for Instagram with a cinematic cut for your reel, or any other combo that fits your workflow. SEE EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE GETTING A live crop guide overlays your viewfinder so you can frame both shots before you start recording. No surprises when you check the footage later. DUAL LENS MODE On supported iPhones, DoubleTake uses the Wide and Ultra Wide cameras at the same time — each lens feeds its own output file. You pick which lens handles which aspect ratio. SINGLE LENS MODE No dual-camera hardware? No problem. DoubleTake crops two aspect ratios from a single camera feed, front or back. PRO-GRADE OUTPUT • 4K or 1080p resolution • 24, 30, or 60 fps • HEVC (H.265) codec • MOV for editing, MP4 for sharing • Saved straight to your Photo Library NEVER LOSE A TAKE Your clips stay safe on device until they're added to your Photo Library. If the app closes mid-shoot, DoubleTake automatically recovers your recordings the next time you open it. BUILT FOR CREATORS WHO MOVE FAST No post-production cropping. No duplicating timelines. No exporting twice. Just record and go.
