instnt hub turns your iPad into a calm screen for your home. On the coffee table, on the wall or on a stand: photos, the clock, your calendar and the weather, and control of your home when you need it. FACES Swipe sideways between faces: photos, clock, calendar, weather, timer, music and your home. Pinch for the overview, and keep pinching to see every face in a grid. Hold a face to customize it: a different style with one swipe, a color of your own, widgets added. YOUR HOME Lights, blinds, thermostats, locks and scenes as tiles, by room or for the whole home. Hold a light and the whole screen becomes the dimmer, big enough for the couch. THE RIGHT SCREEN AT THE RIGHT MOMENT A companion appears by itself when something switches on, like the coffee in the morning, and goes away when it switches off. When someone rings the doorbell, the camera is on screen right away, with talk-back and the front door locks. JUST ASK Swipe down and talk to the voice assistant of your own Home Assistant, with the language model you choose there. Or with the language model on the iPad itself, with Apple Intelligence: then nothing leaves the house. REST After a while without a touch, the screen becomes a photo frame with the photos from the album you choose, and at night a dim clock. PRIVACY No account, no analytics, no server of our own. The app only talks to your own Home Assistant, to HomeKit on your iPad and to Apple for the weather.
