IMDb is the one place I should be able to find a film this way. • add filter to narrow down the year it was made • make sure that films are findable one way or another! I’ve been looking for this film where a guy wakes up with a bullet in his head, begins to realize he’s been dead for 10 years, was killed just before he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him, now his 10 year reunion is coming up, he’s undead, wants to see his true love again, so gets help from a Stogner undead ally who has made friends with a big Zombie that they keep with them, the stonter undead Guy keeps teaching Big Z (think his name is definitely a nickname). While on their travels, they deal with the perils and challenges of decomposition & figuring out what happened to them, they are being tracked by a possibly military unit connected to the corporation that the main character’s girlfriend’s (& soon-to-be-fiancée’s) super uppity super rich daddy runs. This movie is hilarious and a great fresh take in Zom-Com Romantic Noir film. So where do I start looking? Comedy, romance? Hard to find under Zombie anyone who can tell me the movie based on this plot provision, please post it in a review or send a message through Facebook. MicHelaware Vanithee signing off! Thanks!

IMDB has always been a great resource, but, what I’m thinking for it not to have an appletv component there MUST be a proprietary stance on TV guides that are ...IMDB has always been a great resource, but, what I’m thinking for it not to have an appletv component there MUST be a proprietary stance on TV guides that are not Apple made, or for paid secondary services. it most useful, when combined with ATVs (Icloud, Siri, Bluetooth WiFi) ability to index and connect data and all of those activated independent apps you activated that have live streaming data, have access to the cable provider once setup, but have 30 different icons and with Siri not as “knowledgeable” as some of its competitors, the IMDB data could fill in A LOT of rotten tomatoes –this would great for cord cutters Again giving them a familiar menu that IMDB allows you to drill down in too much more deeply than a traditional cable box, additional channels could added on the fly with a TV Guide looking menu again – Siri suggestions could be bolstered not with data not provided by the network and ad or subscription based, but you can make more money on free ad based, Because you don’t need to provide content. So like I said, I love the app but it’s really no different than the webpage and my 11 inch iPad Pro still isn’t the same as my TV at the end of the day where I miss my TV Guide but it would be great to know if future shows are going to be renewed or who that actress was and what else was she in across the board with a single menu of live channels. Maybe that’s just My development minded pipe dream. You have the ability to repackage something old for A generation of people that have never experienced singularity of a television experience and the data to make it interactive enough for it to be interesting to generation Z. Instead you decided to open it up to anyone who signs up and allowed them to add trivia items that are quite literally trivial. The trivia of IMDb used to be my favorite part of the site. Behind the scenes tidbits that enhanced what I was watching. Now? It’s either inane tidbits, inaccurate one liners, grasps at any kind of connection, made up crap to say they got something approved, plot spoilers in the wrong location (you know instead of actually going into the spoiler section), notes by people who were obviously not born when the movie/tv show came out and therefore do not get that for their time was the norm, or just plain stupid. I’ve seen everything from people being offended at old 1930’s movies because they didn’t realize that movies were made then and it was a different era to such things a character name in an episode vaguely resembling a previous character name in an episode that aired two years prior. Why are these things approved? Want to make it “social” or interactive? Create a message board or Game Center and leave the actual trivia and fact section to the pros. (Which reminds me, double check your facts on stars as I keep finding inaccurate ‘facts’ on dates of birth, birth/death locations and more. The only thing this site is good for anymore is finding out who’s in the cast.

The amount of information available at the tip of my fingers is Outstanding! The only thing I wish The owners the IMDB app would bring back is the ability to note “Goofs”! I love the ability to note “Trivia” is Great but I sure do miss reading the goofs that people were able to notice and comment on. I wish y’all would consider bringing that one little feature back. Other than that, it’s amazing how much information that’s stored and available to us free of charge! I frequently ask other people who don’t have the IMDB on their Smartphone one simple question: “WHY?” On a side note, when the window popped up in the app asking me to rate IMBD, I gave you the highest available star, but when I went to write my comments, the message line on the “Write a Review” section of the review said to “Tap a Star to Rate”. Although I tried tapping on the fifth star, meaning the Highest Rating, nothing happened. Just thought I’d let you know! Bryan Phillips

Th...Excellent app, I use it daily, and always on the fly for a quick search. However with the last update you made the default load page not ‘Search’ but ‘Home’. This is a huge problem for me. First, the ‘Home’ page by design is cool, but because it’s loading content it’s slower to load. Instinctively I expect the home page to have a search bar but it doesn’t. So by the time the page loads I realize I have to manually click the ‘Search’ option in the lower bar. While this isn’t a huge problem, it adds the extra step of me having to having to click the search icon, which is counter-intuitive. This wasn’t the design in all previous IMDB updates, why the change now? This would be a 5 star review but because of the un-intuitive design I’m giving it 3. Not going to lie, I’ve used IMDB less and Google more for quick searches. Please either allow for a ‘Default’ setting where the user can choose what loads on startup or put a search bar on the ‘Home’ page. Even the latter, quick searches mean fast results, and having to wait for a ‘Home’ page to load and cache content every time I start the app doesn’t allow for rapid results.

The news topic list drones on without a seeming end and in order for me to switch topics (Top, Movies, Tv, Celeb) I either have to scroll all the way back to the top or I have to back out of the news and then open it again and switch. There was a similar issue a few updates back but it was resolved. It’s too clunky now and really like it if they streamlined it again. Until then I’m left giving it a 3 star review... 😞 (Update: I had known about tapping the top of the screen, as I said it’s just a clunky design. Before the update, the topics were at the top and immediately accessible for switching with just a tap. It just felt more streamlined. I am understanding of change and I accept it freely, especially when it makes things easier and functions better. I’m a big fan of the bug fixes that were addressed like when the app would restart as I was changing back and forth between this and other apps. Or when it would close the page I was on when my screen would lock.... Those fixes were great, and I thank you for them.)

It’s the absolute best way to find TV and Movie summaries, stats, fan reviews and...I’ve been using IMDb’s app on my iPhone & iPad for more years than I remember. It’s the absolute best way to find TV and Movie summaries, stats, fan reviews and feedback that I’ve ever found. The synopses are consistently clear and accurate. The ease of use to track my watch history and my want to see watchlist is so simple and easy to navigate. And when I’m in the mood a particular genres or community rating, etc, the filters are super helpful and easy to glance through. Countless times I’ll see an actor and in a moment iMDb tells me what else I’ve seen them in that I can’t quite remember. I ask Alexa for ratings on stuff all the time and how many ratings there are. And it’s all accessible in a just few clicks! Consistently IMDb is reliable and relevant. I can’t say enough about this app. I love the UI-it’s intuitive and the updates always mean an improved experience (tons of apps do the opposite and convolute instead). I’ve never had any issues with the app crashing or freezing up. LOL can you tell I like it??

I don't have a problem with ads if it keeps the app free, my issue is that I can't click on anything while it's there. Example: I open the app and search for a title, on the search page an empty see-through box appears. If you try to click on something behind/within the box it goes to a video ad. There's no other way around it. I'm not sure if it's on purpose - again I don't mind ads to keep the app free - but it's a little intrusive in that I can't get around it. If it is on purpose, like I need to watch it before continuing, then the feature needs a tune up. The only way to get around it is to close the app entirely and go back in and start over. Otherwise I love the app, use it a lot, it's very helpful and in my opinion the app is even better than the actual website.

The sequence of the main relationships in the show was written in the script perfectlyyyyyyy. There wasn’t a moment when I sat back and thought, “they’re moving way too fast” or “this all feels so rushed.” I automatically knew the person who wrote this script was a woman because of how the characters were portrayed and how the intimate and vulnerable shots were filmed. Also, everything feels authentic and natural in the most beautiful way possible. Mostly everything was kinda out in the open and raw, which is what i loveedddddd about it. it’s so rare to find a show or film that has characters that are actually normal in a relatable way. Obviously not everyone is a prince that has to transfer to a different school but the emotions Wille showed us were all perfectly performed & understandable & relatable. I can’t even say everything that i’d like to say because i’d write an essay BUT I NEED A SEASON TWO!

However, there are a few weaknesses. 1. It is impossible to add a parents’ guide to a page that does not already include one without using the browser, even though you can use the browser to open such a page in the app. 2. The tt####### and nm####### do not show up in the app at all. To find them, you must find the page in the browser and find the number in the url. 3. Links do not work in the app; instead, they just show up as text. The only way to know if there is a link there is to go into the edit space and see if there is a [link=….], and even then, you cannot use the link in the app. 4. Despite the aforementioned issues, the browser always prompts you to use the app. 5. If an item you submit is rejected, IMDb does not tell you why it was rejected; instead, it just sends you to the help guide and tells you to figure it out yourself. 6. If an actor has multiple roles in a show, the roles are separated by a slash, and there may be an attribute at the end such as (voice) or (uncredited). Why is this a problem? Because sometimes the attributes only apply to one of the characters (e.g., the actor may voice one character and portray another, or may be credited for only one role). Even if you put the role the attributes apply to last, there is no way to tell if they concern only the last role or all of them. 7. The app often tells me they were “unable to verify the information provided” on movie connections, but this only seems to be a problem with some shows. How does this work? 8. Attributes on roles appear only in individual episodes of series, never for the entire series, even if the attribute is in every episode that character appears in. I understand that this might mislead people, but this does so even more. I would honestly say the only advantage of the app is that it keeps you signed in and provides quicker access.
