DRIVE, THEN REVIEW • Automatic Tracking detects possible drives, but never assumes you were the driver. • Every automatic record starts in Review: Business, Personal, Commute, Passenger / Transit, or Not a drive. • Start an unlimited Manual GPS drive, or add an unlimited distance-only record. EVIDENCE YOU CAN SEE • Evidence Center separates observed GPS traces, manual facts, and unresolved possible gaps. • Coverage Guard flags interrupted signals instead of inventing a road route or mileage. • Gap Assistant requires your actual distance or increasing odometer readings. Possible gaps stay out of totals until confirmed. • See observed GPS distance and the distance applied to a record separately. • Edit, merge, split, or undo records without silently changing their source or evidence. REPORTS THAT STAY EXPLAINABLE • Filter by classification, vehicle, client, or project, then export PDF or CSV. • Use date-effective mileage rates and retain a snapshot of each saved report. • Add purpose and recipient labels, mark the exact version delivered, and create a linked correction without overwriting the original. • Get a warning when the same recipient and purpose already include selected drives. • See readiness warnings before export. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your trip ledger is stored on your device. • No MileDone account, HomiSoft trip server, ads, or remote dashboard. • Maps and reverse geocoding are optional; a missing address never removes a record. • Export an encrypted .miledone backup when you choose. • A route-redacted backup removes coordinates, route rules, gap anchors, and coordinate diagnostics while warning that typed place names can still identify a location.
