Some of the movies you care about are on a shelf. Most of them aren't. Movie Case keeps both. Add a movie and tag how you own it: DVD, Blu-ray, 4K, digital. Or leave it untagged, and it simply counts as one you've watched. Rate it, write down what you thought, and over time the app works out what you like. ADDING MOVIES • Search by title. Posters, cast, runtime and synopsis come filled in • Point your camera at a cover, or pick a photo of one, to add it • Tag how you own a movie, or leave it untagged • With Pro: photograph a whole shelf and add several at once, and search by actor, director or a description of the film YOUR LIBRARY • Browse as cards or a list • Filter by genre or by format • Rate out of five, and keep private notes on anything worth remembering • Save what you want to watch next • Two themes, including a black-and-white Noir mode • Export the lot to a file, and import it back. Your library is not locked in here FINDING SOMETHING TO WATCH • For You builds suggestions from what you've added and rated • Push genres up or down when it gets you wrong • Check where a movie is streaming • Find something similar to any title you already have WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Your library is stored on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign-in. The app has no analytics, no adverts and no tracking. Looking up a movie sends its title so we can fetch the details back. With Pro's AI features switched on, your search text, the text read from a scanned cover or shelf, and your notes on your highest-rated films are also sent to generate results. Nothing else leaves your phone.
