Countdown: Days & Event Timer

Count the days to what you are actually waiting for. Countdown keeps your next event on the Home Screen and shows exactly how many days, hours and minutes are left: a wedding, a trip, a birthday, a due date, an exam, the end of a deployment. WHAT THE FREE PLAN GIVES YOU - 3 events, each with one reminder (or watch a short ad for one extra event) - 2 of the 8 display styles: Large and Minimal - 3 of the 6 backgrounds: solid, gradient and glass - Every widget, Lock Screen and inline included - Pin, favorite, archive, search and a timeline view WITH PRO - Unlimited events - Repeating events: yearly, monthly, weekly - The other 6 display styles: Flip Clock, Circular, Progress Ring, Progress Bar, Digital and Elegant - Animated backgrounds: moving gradient, stars and particles - A color wheel instead of the 8 preset colors - Up to 8 reminders on a single event: at the event, 1 hour, 12 hours, 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days before - No ads REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE A reminder is scheduled as a fixed instant, not as a time of day, so a flight across time zones or a daylight-saving change does not move it. iOS only holds 64 pending notifications per app, so this version keeps the nearest ones and rebuilds the list every time you open the app: the birthday next week no longer loses its place to an anniversary three years out. COMMON QUESTIONS Do I need Pro to put a countdown on the Home Screen? No. Every widget works on the free plan, Lock Screen ones included. Does it need an internet connection or an account? Neither. Everything stays on the device and there is nothing to sign up for. What happens to a birthday once the day passes? If you set it to repeat, it moves itself to next year the first time you open the app afterwards, and its reminders move with it. How many reminders can one event have? One on the free plan, up to eight with Pro. Can it count up from a date that has already passed? Yes, in days. Once a date has been past for a full day, the event shows how many days ago it was. Repeating events (Pro) jump to the next date instead. What language is the app in? It follows your iPhone. The interface is translated into 34 languages. PERFECT FOR Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, trips, exams, due dates, retirement, product launches, Christmas, sobriety milestones and deployments.
