BlockBite

BlockBite — Every Bite Counts BlockBite takes the guesswork out of food tracking with BlockBucks (BB), a simple scoring system that tells you how each food stacks up. Instead of juggling calories, fat, protein, and fiber separately, BlockBite combines them into one easy number. Lower is better. Zero means free. The BB formula rewards protein and fiber while penalizing fat and sugar, aligned with USDA Dietary Guidelines 2025-2030. Fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins score zero — eat as much as you want. How it works: • Get a daily BlockBucks budget based on your body, activity level, and goals • Search thousands of foods from USDA and Open Food Facts databases • Scan barcodes for instant nutritional scoring • Log meals and track your daily spending • Carry unused BlockBucks forward with the weekly Safety Net Key features: • Smart budget engine that adjusts for your real activity from Apple Watch data • Body composition tracking with tape measurements • Weekly progress tracking with visual charts • Full nutritional science explained in-app • Create and save custom foods and meals • No account required — all data stays on your device No ads. No subscriptions. No data collection. BlockBite is built on evidence-based nutrition science. The scoring formula, budget calculations, and deficit recommendations all follow published guidelines from the USDA, ACSM, and NIH.
