Shelvanize

Shelvanize tells you the exact order to put your books back on the shelf. Catalog what you own, pick how you want it arranged, and Shelvanize produces one complete ordering for your whole collection, from the first book to the last. FIVE WAYS TO ORDER By section, in sections like Science Fiction or Food & Drink, set from each book's classification or chosen by you. By author, surname first, with a series kept in reading order. By title, ignoring leading articles. By subject, using Library of Congress classification, with the class shown on each book that has one. By height, for the shelf where the tall books have to live together. THE ORDERING IS COMPLETE, NOT APPROXIMATE Every ordering is total. There are no ties and nothing is left for you to settle. The same collection and the same scheme give you the same order today, tomorrow, and on a different phone. Books a scheme cannot place are never guessed at. Not every book has a published classification, and rather than inventing one Shelvanize collects those into a clearly marked section at the end, so you always know exactly which ones need a decision from you. BUILDING YOUR COLLECTION Type in a title and author. That is free, unlimited, and always will be. Unlock the camera to scan a barcode or read a cover instead, and the details fill themselves in. YOUR COLLECTION IS NEVER CAPPED There is no limit on how many books you can keep, and there never will be. Everything you add stays readable, editable and exportable, to CSV or JSON, offline, whether or not you ever buy anything. THE ONE-TIME UNLOCK One payment, no subscription. It turns on the arrangement engine and adding books with the camera. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-IN There is nothing to sign up for. Your collection lives on your device.
