SantaTrail

Follow the string of lights and find the Christmas magic. SantaTrail turns your street, village or town into a Christmas lights trail that families walk together on their phones. A twinkly string of lights leads you from one beautifully lit house or shop to the next, and Santa himself tells you where to turn. CHOOSE YOUR GUIDE Santa guides the way with his own warm voice, or choose Jingle the elf, one of his cheeky helpers from the workshop. Every direction is short, clear and full of Christmas magic, and works even with no signal. A CELEBRATION AT EVERY STOP Each stop lights up with a burst of stars when you arrive. See what to look out for, read a little about the display, and tick it off your list. A STORY AT EVERY STOP Many trails come with their own Christmas story, set in your own village. A new chapter unlocks at each stop, so the story unfolds as you walk. FIND THE MAGIC WORD The letters of a magic word are hidden along the way. Collect them all to spell it out, and on some trails, claim a festive treat at the end. FESTIVE PHOTOS At photo points, snap your family in front of the lights and decorate the photo with Christmas frames and stickers. Every photo is checked by the trail's organiser before anyone else can see it. PICK YOUR FAVOURITES Save the displays you love as you go, then vote for your favourites when the voting opens. Who will win the village's best lights? SAFE AND SIMPLE - Routes keep to quiet lanes and footpaths, away from main roads where they can - A gentle reminder to hold hands near busy roads - Your place is saved, so you can pick up the walk another night - Works with the phone in your pocket: each stop ticks off as you pass it FIND A TRAIL NEAR YOU Browse trails on the map, or scan the code on a poster or in a shop window to jump straight in. SET UP YOUR OWN TRAIL Organisers, households and local businesses set up trails at santatrail.com. Every kind of trail is free to set up, and free for families to walk. SantaTrail uses your location only while you are walking a trail you have started, to show where you are on the map and tick off each stop as you reach it. It stops when you finish or leave the trail. Made with love in Cornwall by SantaHQ, the home of SantaPost and SantaCall.
