Description
OKURUKIGANAI ("No Intention of Winning Big") is an entertainment app that hilariously expresses just how impossible it is to win the lottery. [Lottery Gacha] Tap to draw. That's it. The app uses real lottery probability tables to determine results. You'll almost certainly lose - but on extremely rare occasions, you might actually win. Even then, the app needles you with self-deprecating quips like "the bank's gonna ask a lot of questions." There's also an 8% chance of a cruel fake-out: confetti flies, your heart races... then "Just kidding." A beautifully devastating experience. While drawing, four slot digits spin and stop sequentially for extra suspense. Three persistent counters keep the joke going: a draw count, a "Total Winnings" tracker for your (improbable) cumulative take, and a "Could have saved" tracker that quietly tallies every ¥300 ticket as money you wouldn't have lost. All three are editable manually so you can seed the app with your real-world lottery spending if you dare. [Milestone Overlays] The first time the "Could have saved" counter crosses a threshold (lunch, hot spring, latest iPhone, Hawaii, luxury watch, new car, apartment down payment), a sarcastic celebration overlay congratulates you on the milestone you didn't reach. Example: hit ¥300,000 and the app cheers "You could have flown to Hawaii." [Tempted? Button] Press the "Tempted?" chip on the draw tab the moment you crave a real lottery ticket. The app responds with one of twelve sarcastic talk-down lines designed to suppress the urge - "Take a deep breath. Breathing is free." or "Lightning is more realistic." No external links. [Watch an Ad: 10 Draws] Watch an ad to the end to draw 10 tickets at once. All ten count toward "Could have saved", and they will almost all lose. [What You Could Have Done] Once your cumulative spend is above zero, a gold pill appears. Tap it to see exactly how many lunches, iPhones, Hawaii trips, or apartment down payments your wasted money could have bought. [Days I Didn't Buy] A new "Skipped" tab. On any day you resist buying a ticket, tap "I didn't buy a ticket today" to log ¥300 (one Year-End Jumbo ticket) as money kept - once per day. Track money kept, days skipped, and your current and best streaks. The app tells you what you've protected on the same lunch-to-condo scale. Every log comes with a sarcastic pat on the back like "¥300 has been wired to your future self." Hit 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100, 200, or 365 logged days to earn titles such as "Restraint Apprentice," "One-Week Sage," "Understands Expected Value," and "Lottery Graduate," complete with a celebration overlay. Tapped by mistake? Undo today's entry or reset the log. It all stays on your device. [The Despair Comparison] Compare jackpot odds (1 in 20,000,000) with absurdly unlikely everyday events: - Getting hit by a meteorite: 29x more likely - Getting struck by lightning: 16x more likely - Finding a four-leaf clover: 2,000x more likely Visualize it with log-scale bar charts and a 50x50 dot grid (one gold dot among 2,500). [Lifetime Waste Simulator] "What if you spent ¥3,000/month on lottery tickets for 30 years?" See the devastating gap between total investment and estimated winnings on a chart. Plus, a "what you could have bought instead" list (Hawaii trips, iPhones, a new car...) twists the knife. Mix and match monthly spend (¥1,000-30,000), duration (1-50 years), and lottery type (Year-End Jumbo, Loto 6, Loto 7, Scratch). [Other Features] - English/Japanese support (auto-detected from device settings) - First-launch onboarding that explains the app with humor (re-openable from the help button anytime) - Bright, pop design (the content is savage) - No accounts. Your draws, totals, and skip log stay on your device - Ads are served by Pangle (choose whether they're personalized anytime via ? > Ad settings) This app neither encourages nor discourages lottery purchases. It just delivers the cold, hard truth.
