NZISM

NZISM is New Zealand’s leading professional association for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practitioners. We support our community of over 3,200 members across 14 branches from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. We are dedicated to empowering our members at every stage of their career. Our vision is to lead the way for the health and safety profession. Our purpose is to influence better health and safety outcomes at work. We achieve this by representing the interests of our members at industry and Government levels, and by supporting the growth and development of members through an unrivalled suite of membership benefits that includes: national advocacy for OHS practitioners; regular networking and CPD events throughout our branch network; an extensive Webinar Programme; workshops with local and international experts; an internationally aligned Accreditation Programme providing a pathway to the HASANZ Register, a national register of health and safety professionals; online sector forum groups; industry-leading fortnightly e-newsletter; online resources (eg. webinar and event recordings; a topic library, enforceable undertaking outputs, papers, articles, webinar recordings); a successful Peer Support programme; discounts on training, events, services and more. NZISM promotes industry excellence and leads by example with a membership dedicated to volunteerism, knowledge sharing, mutual support and continual improvement. If you'd like to be part of an engaged, progressive community of health and safety professionals, we'd love to have you onboard. Join us.
