Fəde

Fəde is a small experiment against doomscrolling. Meet Ery — a kawaii character who lives on your home screen and works as your mirror. Ery's tone shifts with your day, from warm peach to faded gray, based on how you've been spending your time. It's an observation, not a judgement. Fəde isn't here to punish you. It's not here to score you. It's here to help you notice — gently — and decide for yourself. — What Ery reflects Three simple things, read locally on your iPhone: • Sleep (from Apple Health, or you tell me) • Movement and focus during the day (steps, workouts, reading, meditation, deep work) • Time spent on distracting apps (Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube, Threads…) via Screen Time No score. No goal. No streak. Just a shade that changes. — What Fəde does NOT do • No internet connection. The app talks to no server. • No accounts, logins, emails, mailing lists. • No analytics, tracking, "product improvement" metrics. • No ads, no data sales. • Apple Health: read-only, data stays on your iPhone. • Screen Time: only "threshold reached" anonymous signals, never app names. Everything stays on your device. iOS Settings → Fəde shows no network options because it never requests them. — What Fəde is NOT • Not therapy. • Not a coach. • It doesn't know if you're okay. • It's a small mirror. Nothing more. Inside Settings you'll find a "Need help?" section with real listening helplines (Telefono Amico, Crisis Text Line and more), and a "Uninstall Fəde gracefully" page — because my goal is to stop being useful to you. — Extras • Home screen widgets: Small, Medium, Large • Lockscreen widget (off by default — seeing a quote all day can weigh on you) • Dynamic Island Live Activity • Motivation: curated quotes, pick one to keep with you • Fidget co-regulator: a bouncing bubble that slows from an anxious rhythm to 4-4-4-4 box breathing, for moments of acute stress • Two notifications a day, max. Written with care. All opt-in. Fəde is free, ad-free, no in-app purchases. If one day you don't need me anymore, uninstall me. That's my best version.
