Boring Care

Boring Care is a private day counter for residency permits. If you have a visa or residency that requires you to stay in (or out of) a country for a maximum number of days per year, Boring Care does the math for you — without sending your data anywhere. — ONE TAP TO USE — Add the country where you have a residency permit and tell Boring Care when you last left. The counter starts. Hit "I'm back home" when you return. That's it. No travel logs, no destination picker, no calendar surgery. — THREE COUNTING RULES — Pick the rule that matches your residency: • 183 days in any rolling 365-day window — the strictest, common for tax residency • 180 consecutive days outside the country — resets on return • 183 days per calendar year — January to December — SMART REMINDERS — Local notifications 30, 14, 7 days before your deadline and on the day itself. Customize which ones you want. Add the return deadline to your iOS Calendar in one tap. — WIDGET ON YOUR HOME SCREEN — Small or Medium widget with the days countdown. Pick up to 3 countries via the widget configuration. Updates daily so the number stays accurate even if you don't open the app. — MULTIPLE RESIDENCIES — Tracking several visas at once? Boring Care handles them all in parallel. Star your most-watched country to keep it at the top. — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — Everything stays on your device. No account. No analytics. No server. No tracking. Boring Care does not collect any data. Period. — UNIVERSAL APP — Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Free on all three. — LANGUAGES — English, Русский. Boring Care is also called "Скука" in Russian, because that's what reliable infrastructure should feel like — boring and predictable.
