AcademicVoice Pro is the family and individual edition of AcademicVoice, designed for student-owned and family iPads. It includes the full AcademicVoice communication system and academic library for use at home, in private practice, and for family communication support. COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Five board modes: Core Board, Simple Choice, Basic Needs, Quick Response, and Story Builder. Research-informed color coding. Motor planning preservation, so words stay in consistent positions. Speech uses the iPad's built-in voices. LANGUAGES Core vocabulary labels are translated in 10 languages in addition to English: Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, French, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), Arabic, Filipino, Korean, and Russian, with coverage varying by language. Pairing uses an encrypted local connection over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, not the internet, and a staff PIN on this iPad must approve each connection. No data is sent to external servers.
