Horizon Chase brings high octane racing from Top Gear, with the aesthetics of a Need For Speed game, in that it's vibrant and colorful, and high octane in that ...Horizon Chase brings high octane racing from Top Gear, with the aesthetics of a Need For Speed game, in that it's vibrant and colorful, and high octane in that it requires quick reaction times and split second decision making. The game is almost the antithesis of a common mobile game, you unlock cars by racing your heart out in world tour cups, bonus circuits, or campaign mode races. The use for real money? buying campaigns of course! some do come with cars, but every car has a campaign bundled in with it, one that fits with the car's aesthetic. The only break in this rule is the old car set, which is only cars. The World Tour is where you'll spend most of your time outside of campaigns. It's where bonus races and cups give you cars, and the in game currency. This currency is used to unlock stuff early, such as bonus races or entire locations. Overall, this game is incredible in execution.

I love the game and how it’s developed but it lacks a lot of things that would make it REALLY good. First of all the price to buy the full version is a bit much in my opinion. Maybe $1.99 or something instead of $2.99 would work better for me. But as for the actual game, I wish there were more features other than just racing around some simplistic tracks. It would be cool to really customize your car with lots of cool options like paint, decals, body kits, wings, etc. I’d also love to see features like free roam (in an endless city or something based on whichever region you choose), friend racing, and creating your own tracks. This would add another amazing layer to the game and would really make me want to continue playing and purchasing things in-game. It’s been 4 months as of me writing this, since the developers had their last update, so I hope they didn’t just abandon the game. I hope they listen to this and consider what I and many others are saying. Thanks :)

The graphics of the game are phenomenal better than any racing game I’ve seen on the App Store! The tracks are very creative and the cars are just awesome! One problem I have with this game is that it’s constantly crashing... There are times when I launch the app and the game just crashes on start up. There are other times when I put my phone on sleep mode and leave the app in the background running and when I go and start playing again it just crashes which is really annoying. Another thing, one time I was playing the game and racking up my points to unlock the cups and bonus races. Not even 1 hour into the game and I crashes and I lost all my data that I saved in the last 15 minutes. I was mad to reopen my game and notice that the wins I had saved were gone. I just hope that this gets fixed cause I don’t want to have to go through the crashes again! Thank You.

Is it perfect? No. But I am glad it is not too easy even though some tracks are frustrating, you just have to choose the right car for the course and you can take 1st place on every track. There are a few annoying little glitches in the interface but not during the races that I am seeing at all and I have been playing for at least a couple years. I would like to see more new tracks and a better way to customize the different rides because there are some cars that are never a good choice.

One mistake cost you the race so you had to practice and memorize the tracks! The controls are spot on and the price is very reasonable. The graphics are a very interesting hybrid and plays without any stuttering on my 6s. I'm worried the in-app purchase prevents family sharing but it's not that much and the game is well worth buying for each device if you have to. Also,the fact that nitro is given at the start of every race when they could have made it a pay-consumable is huge and one of the reasons I'm buying the full version.

Bit hard to play with but it looks sick. Anyways I recently thought up some things that you could add in the next update. 1: Remember the Hot and Cold season for playground? I think we should consider a Hot and Cold update for both Switch and IOS; adding two new cups; the Florida Cup and the Antarctica Cup. (I only said Antarctica Cup because I saw this giant boat dock (or is it a spaceport?) at the bottom of the world.) Also, you could add two new cars that you would get for finishing the cup. I don’t know WHAT the cars should be so, yea it’s up to you. Also one more thing; the Long Endurance should be easier to complete(70, 80 tracks long). Bringing together the late-‘80s/early-‘90s SEGA arcade racer genre, with Asphalt’s mile-a-second arcade, super-steering, thrill ride, this game is a flat, relatively slow-paced, Sunday sight-seeing cartoon, with faux nostalgia for those who’ve never played the original, arcade, SEGA machine, bumped up, a bit, with semi-modernized gameplay that neither brings back old memories of actual ‘80s, simulated 3D camp, nor does it whiten one’s knuckles, by not slamming that genre into the trick-filled, elite-precision, supersonic, hyper-arcade experience of either of the two far better games that it struggles to jigsaw together. Moreover, while both of the other games are free — with “A8” allowing you to watch some ads, for rewards — to go beyond the flimsy demo that this game offers *requires* payment, to fully experience its incredibly disappointing attempt to cash in on the joy of either, original game. Whereas Outrun takes you back to the whimsical glory days of late-‘80s/early-‘90s arcades — and Asphalt 8 has fine-tuning for what must be nearly 100 actual or concept, branded cars that handle and sound like their IRL counterparts — Horizon Chase has a relative handful of replicas that neither feel, nor sound like any particular car, but rather, some “hybrids” of IRL racers that, to justify the ⭐️ rating, look somewhat like super cars you’ve seen before. Moreover, it isn’t as exciting as either of the original games on which this game was obviously modeled, and —having gotten the PS4 version, from PS+, as a thrown-in replacement for PES Soccer, about which everyone had complained — in an unprecedented and horrible decision, by Sony — it is a one play game, which pushes against the current of sports games for which replay value is the most important aspect.

It has amazing levels and its a good challenge. So you play the levels and you get points to open more levels. I say all this but there is a down side. In some races you feel like a different car would be better for the race but free to play player don’t get this. You are stuck with a single red and you have to buy a pass to get a new car. I understand the price isn’t bad but I also don’t want to pay for this when I can just play a different game. The only free things is the world tour and three races from daily challenges. I love playing this game, it’s just hard when u don’t have the greatest car. You don’t need a different car to win but it would be nice to maybe change the color or maybe the shape. By the end of the day, still a good game

Please include more features to upgrade the various car parts. There is, however one problem. When I get to the Salvador track in Brazil and I reach position 1 - 3 in each of the 3 races, I am prompted to upgrade my fleet of cars. But when I select the upgrade of my choice, the game freezes and doesn’t allow me to apply or confirm the selection of my chosen upgrade. It’s as if there’s a bug in the game. The same also happens when I go to Cape Town in South Africa. After finishing the game in the required position, the game also prompts me to upgrade my fleet but doesn’t apply that upgrade to my cars. Please fix this problem. I would have given the game 5 stars but I will reserve it for when the game is fixed and the bug removed. I do hope you will look into this issue. Thanks. Update: Wrote an email to their support team. They replied saying that they are working on the game. It’s almost close to one year now and they are “still fixing a bug in the game.” A Single Bug! This problem, as outlined above, persists on Apple TV, iPad and iPhone. I and many other people have spent money in buying this game, so developers, it’s not a money issue that you’re having, it’s a laziness & negligence issue. Clearly, you’ve abandoned the development of this game. We feel like you took our money and ran. We do not see the full results of what we paid for. I have downgraded my opinion of you & your game from 4 stars to 1 star. If it was possible, I’d rate you 0 stars. 👎🏼
