Sidetrip

Sidetrip is a trip planner built for people who want their itinerary with them, not scattered across notes apps, browser tabs, and group chats. # EXPERIENCE YOUR TRIP Sidetrip organises your itinerary into parts, days, and stops. Each day is a timeline with start and end times, travel time between stops, and the flights, trains, and buses leaving that day, plus a map with a colour-coded route. Tap any stop for its address, opening hours, cost, and website, and navigate directly from the app. As you travel, mark stops as in progress, visited, or skipped, and see your progress at a glance. Turn on a setting to open today's trip, on today's day, whenever you launch the app. Flights, trains, buses, ferries, and car rentals are all supported. Your bookings sit in the trip overview, and each day shows where you're staying, including check-in, which night of your stay it is, and check-out. Add notes to any stop, accommodation, or booking, and give your trip and its days cover photos. Everything syncs across your devices via iCloud. # CREATE YOUR TRIP Sidetrip includes a ready-made prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any AI assistant. Plan your trip, then import the result. With Apple Intelligence, generate an itinerary directly in Sidetrip: on-device on iOS 26/macOS 26, or exclusively through Apple Private Cloud Compute (PCC) on iOS 27/macOS 27 or later. PCC sends your prompt and required context to Apple for processing, needs internet, and has an Apple daily quota that Pro does not increase or remove. Failures are shown without silently switching models or processing locations. Generation is available to Free and Pro users within their trip limits. # SIDETRIP PRO Sidetrip Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the full power of the app. Unlimited trips — the free tier includes one trip. Pro removes that limit. AI assistant — plan and edit your trip in plain language, right inside the trip or day view. On iOS 26/macOS 26 and later, On Device mode renames days, edits stops, and updates bookings, and works offline. On iOS 27/macOS 27 or later, Private Cloud mode can edit your whole trip: fill a day with stops, add or remove days, and manage transportation and accommodations. Private Cloud uses PCC, needs internet, and shares Apple's daily quota with trip generation. You choose the mode; Sidetrip never switches on its own. Trip sharing — share any trip with travel companions via iCloud. Everyone sees the same itinerary, and edits, notes, and covers sync in real time. Anyone can accept a shared trip; Pro is required to share one. CarPlay — browse trips, review day stops, and start navigation from your car display with Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. Apple Watch — keep your itinerary on your wrist. An Up Next card shows your next stop; tap Start and Mark Visited as you go. Downloaded trips work offline. AI covers — create trip and day covers with Image Playground on iOS 27/macOS 27 or later. # FEATURES Free: - Day-by-day timeline with stops, times, travel times, and bookings - Interactive map for each day with colour-coded markers and route lines - Visit status tracking per stop - Transportation and accommodation overview - Editable notes, synced via iCloud - Trip and day cover photos - Open today's trip at launch - Accept shared trips (up to your trip limit) - AI trip planning via any AI assistant - AI trip generation with Apple Intelligence (local on OS 26; PCC on OS 27+) - One trip included Pro (one-time purchase): - Unlimited trips - AI assistant (On Device; Private Cloud on OS 27+) - Share trips with real-time iCloud sync - CarPlay with Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze - Apple Watch companion with Up Next (watchOS 26+) - AI-generated covers (OS 27+) - Alternate app icons (iPhone and iPad)
