Missy is a weekly climate companion for residents of Issy-les-Moulineaux. It turns the city's zero-carbon ambition into small actions you can actually finish — most of them in under a minute. START WITH YOUR BASELINE A short questionnaire covers eight areas: mobility, home energy, food and consumption, waste and sorting, lifestyle, digital habits, awareness, and local context. Wherever a question can't be answered precisely there's an "Unsure" option, and you can stop partway and pick it up later. At the end you get your estimated CO₂e for the year, your biggest single source, and the first challenge worth starting. Retake it whenever you like — earlier results are kept so you can see what changed. EIGHT WEEKLY CHALLENGES One challenge opens each week, seven days apart, counted from the day you join the first one — so the cycle follows you, not the calendar. 1. Know Your Carbon Footprint 2. Plastic-Free Living Missing a week never blocks the ones after it, and weeks you've already joined stay open for review. LOG WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO Each challenge offers a small set of actions to log. Logging is trust-based and self-reported: Missy asks for no proof and tracks no location. Points are itemised the moment you earn them — base points, then any bonus on its own line — so you always see where a total came from. ASK MISSY The in-app coach explains what your baseline means, why the current week matters, and which action to try next, and can hand you straight to the map or a logging screen. When a figure is an estimate rather than a measurement, Missy says so. FIND WHAT'S ALREADY NEARBY The map shows recycling points, Vélib' stations, bio markets and repair shops, drawn from Issy's open data with the time of the last update on every card. BADGES AND COMMUNITY Twelve badges to collect: one for each weekly challenge, plus Zero Carbon Champion, Consistency Keeper, Community Voice and Clim'Act Explorer. The leaderboard compares residents within your neighbourhood or across the city, and each week is ranked on that week's own basis — car-free kilometres one week, energy-saving actions another. Other residents only ever see an anonymous label, never your name. CLIM'ACT TOURS In weeks 1 to 4, each challenge links to a 3D tour of a place in Issy-les-Moulineaux with a code hidden inside. Find the code, enter it in Missy, and earn eco-points. Collect all four for a badge. The tours are produced by the sister Clim'Act project and open in your browser, in French. WASTE REDUCTION CHALLENGE (OPTIONAL) A separate challenge that runs alongside the weekly cycle: weigh your waste and cut your weekly total by 20% against your own two-week baseline. It uses the real Issy bins — bac jaune, bac gris and bac marron. Two weeks of measuring set your baseline, then two four-week rounds, with Bronze, Silver and Gold badges at 10%, 15% and 20%. END OF THE CYCLE After week 8 you get a closing summary: your estimated CO₂e avoided across the eight weeks, what the city achieved together, the badges you earned, and the choice to start another cycle or pause. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Missy never asks for location permission — you browse the map by choosing an area yourself. • No ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking. • Other residents see an anonymous label, never your name or email. • You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. Available in French and English. Missy is a pilot app from Dotsoft and Pragma IoT, built for the Climaborough project with funding from the European Union. It is not an official service of the Ville d'Issy-les-Moulineaux. The figures it shows are estimates based on your own answers, not a scientific emissions audit.
