aiDIANA helps residents of Sofia sort waste correctly and build recycling habits that stick — one short episode at a time. ASK DIANA Not sure where something goes? Ask Diana, the in-app assistant, in plain Bulgarian or English. Every answer follows the same pattern: what to do, why it matters, and the next step you can take. Diana knows which episode you are on and tailors its guidance accordingly. TEN SOCIAL EPISODES The programme runs as ten episodes, each opening a new theme — from urban waste literacy and correct sorting through to everyday behaviour change. Progress is yours alone, and a narrative thread runs quietly through the series, revealed as you go. LEARN AND TEST YOURSELF Each episode comes with a Learn Hub and short learning challenges in six formats: Quick Quiz, Sort It Right, Photo Choice, Waste Meter, Scenario Decision, and Myth or Fact. Most take a couple of minutes and each one earns eco-points. FIND WHERE TO TAKE IT The map shows recycling centres across Sofia with the waste types each one accepts and its opening times. Scan the QR code at a centre when you get there to check in and earn eco-points for the trip. HABITS, POINTS AND YOUR DISTRICT • Eco-points for sorting actions, challenges and check-ins • Daily streaks that reward turning up consistently • Badges for topics you master and episodes you complete • District leaderboards, on your own or as part of a team REPORT WHAT YOU SEE Spotted an overflowing container or a dumping spot? Send a report from inside the app, with a photo and — if you choose — your location. BULGARIAN AND ENGLISH Full parity in both languages. Switch whenever you like from the toggle on the Home screen or in Profile. PRIVACY • No ads and no third-party advertising trackers • Location is optional; the app works fully without it, and is never tracked in the background • Start as a guest without an account, and upgrade later if you want • Delete your account and its data at any time from Profile ABOUT aiDIANA is built and operated by DOTSOFT S.A. for CLIMABOROUGH, an EU Horizon Europe project, in co-operation with the City of Sofia.
