Rain Check: Event Weather

Rain Check reads your calendar and checks the forecast where each plan happens, then tells you which one rain, wind or heat will ruin, in time to move it. New: full-screen radar with your plans pinned on the map. Every weather app answers "what's the weather?" and leaves you to work out what it means for your week. Rain Check does the second half. It looks at your real events, scores each one against the forecast at that event's own address for its own hour, and gives you one sentence: which plan is at risk, when, and what to do about it. Radar comes from NOAA through our own server; a radar tile request identifies only the map area you're viewing, never you. Air-quality checks (Plus) send your event's approximate location to our own server, which looks it up with a third-party air-quality provider and briefly caches the result — never your calendar, never your identity.
