Description
Hazelday is a quiet place to keep one small thing about your day. Each day you write a single short note — up to 100 characters about something ordinary that happened. In return you receive one note written by another person who uses Hazelday. You give one to get one. Nothing to scroll, nothing to win. That's the whole app. And that's the point. — HOW IT STAYS SAFE — Hazelday is not a chat app and has no messaging of any kind. Notes travel one way: you cannot reply to the note you receive, and the person who wrote it cannot contact you. There are no profiles, no photos, no links, no usernames, and no way to search for or follow anyone. Every note is filtered before it circulates. Any note can be reported, and its writer blocked so that nothing they write reaches you again. Reported notes are reviewed within 24 hours and removed when warranted. Hazelday is for adults, 18 and over. — A SLOWER KIND OF JOURNAL — Most journaling apps ask for more: longer entries, daily streaks, charts of your mood. Hazelday asks for less. One note. One hundred characters. A minute of noticing. The constraint is the feature — it turns "I should journal" into something you can actually finish. — ONE ORDINARY DAY, SEEN — Your note goes to one person. Theirs comes to you, for 24 hours. No feed, no comments, no followers — just a glimpse of an ordinary day in another life. You can quietly mark that a note moved you. Witnessed, not judged. — AN ARCHIVE THAT GROWS LIKE TREE RINGS — Your own notes never leave you. They gather, day after day, into a private timeline you can wander back through. A year of small things turns out to be a portrait of a life you might otherwise forget. — BUILT TO LEAVE YOU ALONE — No feed. No likes. No streak guilt. No notifications begging you back. Hazelday witnesses your days; it never congratulates you for them. It's an app designed to be closed. — QUIET BY DESIGN — • One 100-character note a day, on a gentle daily prompt • One note received in return, yours for 24 hours • A private, growing archive of your own days • Optional city name — "from someone in Lisbon" — never a precise location, and never a way to find anyone • Warm, unhurried design; works fully offline; your words sync safely across reinstalls • Sign in with Apple. We keep almost nothing about you, and never sell your data. Write the day down before it's gone.
