The exam this app prepares you for is new, and most study material on the store is for the exam it replaced. Microsoft retired AI-102, Azure AI Engineer Associate, on 30 June 2026. Its successor is AI-103, Developing AI Apps and Agents on Azure, and it is a different exam: built around agents, multi-agent orchestration and Microsoft Foundry rather than around the older service-by-service approach. This bank was written against the skills measured as of 16 April 2026. WHAT THE NEW EXAM ACTUALLY TESTS Building agents: roles, goals, tool schemas, conversation memory, function calling Multi-agent orchestration, termination conditions and approval flows Choosing Foundry services and models per task, including small language models Retrieval Augmented Generation, grounding, and evaluating groundedness Model reflection, self-critique loops and chain-of-thought evaluation Observability: tracing, token analytics, safety signals, latency breakdowns Responsible AI for agents: tool-access control, oversight modes, audit trails Indirect prompt injection, including instructions embedded in images Content Understanding for documents, images, audio and video Computer vision: image and video generation, editing, multimodal understanding Text analysis and speech as an agent modality Information extraction: ingestion, OCR, layout analysis, semantic and hybrid search IT TEACHES THE CURRENT NAMES Microsoft has renamed this stack twice. Azure AI Studio is now Microsoft Foundry. Cognitive Services are now Foundry Tools. Material that still uses the old names is out of date, and this bank uses the current ones throughout.
