Description
FaceSensor® Reflex is a non-contact reflex training aid for blind and low-vision users. Optimized for iPhones with LiDAR, allowing depth sensing to sharpen distance judgment. The app calls each move by sound. Slip away or match the movement with your arm on that side. Four ways to train: 1) Solo Drill: no partner needed. The app calls out moves at a set pace and the camera watches for your moves and matches to keep score. 2) Observer Solo: place the iPhone about ten feet away and train alone in view of the camera. 3) Worn: wear the iPhone on a lanyard, screen against your chest to observe a partner’s moves. 4) Observer Duo: place the iPhone upright or on its side, about ten feet away on a tripod, viewing both user and a partner from the side. Once designated, a partner's moves are called out. Built for accessibility: 1) Instructions are spoken. 2)Say "Start" or "Stop" to control a session hands free. Siri and Shortcuts work too. 3) Learn the Calls, and Practice the Calls before you train. 4) Full VoiceOver support. Apple Watch: Begin or end a session from your wrist, and feel each call: one tap for high, two for low. The watch shows the last call and your reaction time in large print. Private by design: Everything happens on your iPhone in real time. No frame, sound, or result is recorded or sent anywhere. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no network connection. Always start, and stay, beyond arm's length of your partner. For stationary use only.
