IMA Shield

IMA Shield is a personal safety and emergency communication app designed for members of the Indian Medical Association. When assistance is needed, users can quickly send an SOS alert containing their current location and selected emergency type to trusted contacts. Users can create and manage two emergency contact lists using registered IMA members or contacts from their phone. Key features include: • Send location-enabled SOS alerts • Notify selected trusted contacts • Create primary and extended emergency contact lists • Find registered IMA members • Receive push notifications for SOS alerts • Review previously sent alert history • Queue alerts when network connectivity is unavailable • Manage app permissions and account settings Location, contact, and notification permissions are only used to provide the app’s emergency communication features. IMA Shield supports emergency communication but does not replace local emergency services.
