Description

Don't Risk a Trip to Jail for Crossing State Lines with a Gun. Use this FREE reciprocity map mobile app and be completely prepared. Check your concealed carry permit reciprocity, know where your permit is valid, and understand the concealed carry regulations and gun laws in specific states. Educate yourself on gun laws for your specific concealed carry permits with a personalized reciprocity map based on your stored permits. Since 2004, the goal of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) has been to provide resources for anyone who wants to stay safe and avoid danger. Today, our community isn’t only concealed carry permit holders. We are more than 600,000 single moms, military veterans, grandparents, college students … Americans from every faith, political stance and every walk of life. We’re a community of responsible American gun owners like you that prepares its members for the before, during and after of a self-defense incident.

It closes every time saying I need to restart as I may not have the most updated version. Upon checking, I have the most recent version. I’ve turned my phone off and restarted. I’m still stuck. I look forward to this app working so I can continue my classes.

Disappointed - Useless for permit-less carry scenario

The app requires the individual to enter that they have a permit to carry before any information will be displayed. Since this is required to use the app and get to information it erodes trust in this app by implying that State laws also require the individual to have an existing permit for their rights to apply. This appears to be the fault of insufficient requirements gathering for app development as this use case would be common for residents in States like Oklahoma and Texas. Fortunately, this is easily correctable. I would suggest either beginning with available laws for states where permit-less carry is legal or modify the initial configuration so that the user can view State laws if they have entered their State of residence and do NOT have a permit. With this fix, I could easily give this 5 stars.

The easy way to find the information I’m looking for is worth the amount of apps. Now having the ID on the Apple wallet like someone already mentioned is a plus. Thank you for making our lives easier this topics are so important and delicate that having the opportunity you guys provides us with so much information and resources is a blessing.

Make sure your information is correct the online map and the state where I have my permit from match, but in the app, it doesn’t. Please update this app so that it is up-to-date with the current information.

The info in the app for some states is incorrect and differ from the info on the website. That is senseless from many technical perspectives and unacceptable for a paying user. Update: sorry I should have been more specific. In the app South Carolina shows as NOT having reciprocity with Texas. But on the USCCA web page and South Carolina state web they show that SC does have reciprocity. User need to be able to trust the accuracy of your app. Thanks

Also, when you leave and come back to the app, trying to login always shows invalid password after typing and the reset option doesn’t send an email to reset. Overall, good info when it works but rare when it does

Please fix these bugs because it becomes very annoying when you’re traveling through states with a membership that you pay for and you can’t even verify the information to see if you can legally carry.
