Description

Your day, before you unlock. Calpaper turns today's calendar into your Lock Screen wallpaper. Every morning a fresh wallpaper is drawn with today's events, your open reminders, a note to self, countdowns to the dates you're waiting for, the month at a glance and a photo you love. Lift your phone and you already know what's next. WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON IT • Today's events from the calendars on your iPhone (iCloud, Google, Outlook), as a list or a timeline. Once today's are done, tomorrow's. • Your Reminders lists, what's due today first. Tick one off and it's gone at the next update. • Countdowns to the dates you're waiting for, a step closer every morning, and days since a date that matters (Calpaper Pro). • A note to yourself, the month with today marked, and a photo card. • Your name and a few emoji between the flashlight and the camera (Calpaper Pro). MAKE IT YOURS • Ten calm colors. With Calpaper Pro: gradients, your own photos (a new one every morning if you like), three more typefaces, emoji, and cards that are transparent, frosted or a color of your own. • Reorder or hide any block, and use larger text if you need it. Try every Pro feature on the preview first. QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK How do I put my calendar on my iPhone Lock Screen? Install Calpaper, allow access to your calendars and add the ready-made shortcut the app offers. Calpaper draws today's events into a wallpaper and Apple's Shortcuts app sets it on your Lock Screen. The guide shows every tap and takes a few minutes. Does the wallpaper update by itself every day? Yes. A daily automation in Shortcuts makes a fresh wallpaper every morning at the time you choose. Changed something? Tap Update in the app, or long-press its icon. Can I see a countdown on my Lock Screen? Yes. Add the dates you're waiting for, like a trip or a birthday, and each shows the days left on a track that moves a step closer every morning. Does it work with Google Calendar or Outlook? Yes. Calpaper shows any calendar on your iPhone, Google, Outlook, iCloud and shared calendars included, and you choose which ones. Is it a widget? No. Calpaper changes the wallpaper itself, so your day fills the Lock Screen, with either Lock Screen clock and next to your widgets. Is my calendar private? Yes. Everything is read and drawn on your iPhone. Your events, notes and photos never leave it, and there's no account. Free to download, with the daily wallpaper included. Calpaper Pro is one purchase: no subscription, no ads, no account. Works with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion. Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Turkish.

Dra...Calpaper 1.7: put your blocks where you want them, and swipe to try a new color. • Place your blocks anywhere from right under the clock down to the bottom. Drag them up or down on the preview, or use the slider in Look › Placement, which stops at Top, Centered and Bottom. • In Canvas, swipe the preview sideways to change the background color. The colors go round, and the gradients are in there too: try them on, they come with Calpaper Pro. • Gradients now always fade from top to bottom, so Canvas › Direction is gone. • A new icon: one paper ribbon that writes c and p. Twelve colors in Settings › App icon (eleven come with Calpaper Pro), and accent colors to match. Had one of 1.6's icons? You get its new twin, or the new default. • After setup, if your first morning's wallpaper hasn't arrived by 9:00, Calpaper says why and where to fix it: usually the Automation switch on iOS 27, Run Immediately on iOS 18–26. The status in the app says Check, and a notification tells you if notifications are on. • Shortcut renamed or deleted? When Shortcuts can't find it, Add Shortcut brings the ready-made one back in one tap, and the setup guide shows you how to finish it. Update now goes to Shortcuts once, not up to three times, and there's no name to type. • Outlook and Google events: each morning Calpaper asks iOS to refresh your calendar accounts first. Still missing some? Settings › Questions and answers has a new answer. • A repeating event that runs past midnight, like a night shift, now shows each time it happens with its own times. • Haptics where they count: Update's result, each stop in Placement, each color you swipe past. • “Set up later” is quieter, and a line before the setup guide says it takes a few minutes, once. Calpaper 1.6.2: photo wallpapers that always get set. • With a photo as the background, Shortcuts could stop with “an unknown error”, and on iOS 18 the wallpaper could come out black. Both are fixed: tap Update and your photo is on your Lock Screen. • Days since with Larger text: the emoji and the name now stay whole; the number gets a little smaller when space is short. • The Calpaper mark keeps its own font, whatever font your wallpaper uses. • A clearer setup guide: a step to check that Show Preview and Crop to Subject are off in Set Wallpaper Photo, and the right labels on iOS 26. “Doesn't look right?” checks two more things. • Small fixes to the translations. Calpaper 1.6: tomorrow after today, and your name on your Lock Screen. • Tomorrow when today's done: after your last event, the next wallpaper shows tomorrow's events. Turn it on in Content › Events, then tap Update in the evening, or add an evening time to your automation in Shortcuts. • Your name (Calpaper Pro): a name and a few emoji between the flashlight and the camera. Type it in Canvas › Between the buttons and watch it up close as you type. • Every block now has a card, and cards and text hold up on busy photos: Calpaper spots them and makes the cards and shadows stronger. With Calpaper Pro, transparent, frosted or colored cards in Look › Cards. • Text in your color (Calpaper Pro): eight vivid colors in Look › Text color, eight new gradients, and gradients that run up, diagonally or glow from the center in Canvas › Direction. • iOS 18–26: if each morning the wallpaper waits for you to tap a notification, open your automation in Shortcuts; at the top it must say Run Immediately. The setup guide now checks this. • A new icon, and nine to choose from in Settings › App icon (Calpaper Pro). • New German translations, thanks to David. Calpaper 1.5.2: a clearer setup guide. Every step now matches what Shortcuts really shows, from iOS 18 to iOS 27 and in every language, now with Hong Kong and Latin American Spanish too. Add a Photos wallpaper for Calpaper, and on iOS 18–26 pick the Calpaper tile under My Shortcuts.
