Description
You may already enjoy working in Apple’s immersive environments, such as Tkórsmörk or Bora Bora. They offer a great way to step away from your everyday surroundings and focus on what you are doing. With visionOS 27, Apple Vision Pro can turn panoramic photos into personal immersive environments. Panorama Retreats takes advantage of this feature in a different way by offering a collection of original imaginary cityscapes created specifically for this experience. Choose a scene, preview it as a wide curved panorama around you, customize it, then save the finished image to your Photos library. From there, visionOS can convert it into a personal Environment you can enter while working, browsing the web, watching movies, or simply relaxing. FIVE PLACES TO ESCAPE TO • Flea Market – A hillside town filled with wooden stalls, footbridges, and a lively open-air market.
• Port – A working harbor surrounded by a fish market, restaurants, waterfront structures, and open water.
• Downtown – The dense heart of an imaginary city, built in layers of paths, structures, and elevated spaces.
• Train Shed – Gigantic trains inside an enormous shed, beside a city glowing in the sunset.
• Waterfalls – A city built among the remains of ancient structures, surrounded by dramatic waterfalls. Each scene is designed as a wide panoramic environment spanning more than 225 degrees around the viewer. PREVIEW BEFORE YOU SAVE Preview any scene on a large curved 2D panel that wraps around you. The full immersive 3D version becomes available after you save the panorama and convert it into a Personal Environment with visionOS. MAKE IT YOURS Each scene includes a sign or canvas that you can customize. • Add one of your own photos
• Display a monthly calendar for any month and year Your customized image is composited at full resolution so it remains detailed and sharp when viewed inside the environment. FROM PANORAMA TO ENVIRONMENT 1 Save a scene to Photos from Panorama Retreats. 2 Open Environments, choose My Environments, and tap +. 3 Select your saved panorama and let visionOS convert it. 4 Enter your new environment from the Environments menu. Once created, you can use the environment while working with Mac Virtual Display, Safari, Mail, Apple TV, and other apps. PRIVACY Panorama Retreats works entirely on your device. It only requests permission to add your photo to a scene and save the scene to Photos library, and it does not collect personal data. Requires Apple Vision Pro. Creating a Personal Environment from a panorama requires visionOS 27.
